There is a future product in development that will mount in a new location. Not down at the swing arm but will allow a larger and more refined touring size bag/bags to be used. Price point will be much higher but for what it will be still a good deal.
I have a question. Would these bags fit under the back of the sling? I have to remove my saddlebag setup because I'm adding a Wycked hitch. I'd like to keep bags back there because it fills in the rear end. I know I'd have to make some kind of bracket for them. Not sure how big they are. Thanks
Just my 2 cent! Make a bracket to attach to the Wicked Hitch and turns back next to the under body beside the tires.
going to try to make something that is quick release so the whole thing can be removed, similar to this below. Just need to figure out how to attach the docking hardware.
Ordered a set of you bags RD. They look great in your photos. Maybe I can put em to use this summer and at least try for a trip up to Sundre.
Thank you and we saw the order. Very much appreciated!

You gonna join the trek north?
when we get closer to the date, I may need to get a rolecall and a route from you all. I may need to swing South a bit and join the ride North again

Sorta, kinda, maybe? There's a few ducks I have to get in a row, but I'd like to join in the fun. It's actually closer than any of the other events.
Mine arrived today. Nice work RD! These actually look cool on the roll hoops. Others I've seen, not so much. I'd still need a trailer if my girl friend went with me for an overnight trip, but I can pack a whole week's worth of supplies in these if it's just me
Yes another backorder status update but that's a good thing in a way. It means the product must be good and liked. We will have a full inventory during the week of the 23rd and shipping out all backorders and able to ship any new order the next day the order is placed. Standard shipping time is 2-3days in the lower 48 states.
We are back in stock and just in time for the 1/2 half of the riding season....... So sorry for the long lead time.
OK... well we will now be back in full stock in the next week. Just in time for the Labor Day sale. Get 10% off if you order this weekend. Must use PROMO CODE: Laborday
As a side note we are also offering the original GEN1 MeanSling Bags at a reduced limited time price of only $50 for a set. We have very limited quantities and when sold out they are SOLD OUT,
NOTE: these are the original design that mount the same as the Gen2's but do not include the rain flap or the third strap for the Twisted Top. We recommend that if used in the rain that all contents be wrapped in a secondary bag before heading out. The weather resistant zippers are NOT waterproof.
