Your windshield has a similar air gap at the bottom and would have the same issue. 
Can assume anything I like. Anyone with a ripper can purchase a small seal for when it rains. Luckily their windshield isn't nearly as awful looking though.
That's not what I meant at all. But, that's good for you..... 
Fixed and sealed means a lot when you have no roof to keep out the rest of the rain.
There won't be a roof top on mine EVER, wanted it to be more of a motorcycle than a car. That is what my rain gear is for.. Want mine to be more of a bike... My opinion is roof tops are for sissy's might as well have bought Miata! Get Sideways!

Have you thought about selling windshields for Corvettes? Great forums lots of people with disposable incomes!
Maybe you should read about how easy it is to spin out of control on a wet road with a vehicle that only has one wheel in the rear for traction ...I have been convinced enough to not want to ride in the rain...with or without rain gear...or a leaky windshield ...and I have a roof...

Not a chance....never really been a corvette guy...they're nice but not on my bucket list..
