I was able to clean up some unsightly scrapes and gouges with a semi fine flat bastard file....it's not perfect but it looks a little better.
Embarrassing front spoiler dings

Getting ready to do mine. Let someone else drive and they hit a parking block. Gonna use some 80 - 120 grit sand paper on it then hit it with some back to black polish.

Did someone say fat bastard?

We should ask the expert.... V-SHOT, what did you do to fix all the scrapes you put on the front end of your Sling?
Sounds cruel ....

Not cruel at all. I did it to myself. I low sided the passenger side on the Sling awhile back. Worked on the wing for a few hours with a file and some sand paper...then said screw it, and went out and bought the DDM Spoiler!!!! Good as new!!!!

I gouged mind first time I pulled out of my driveway...have to go in and out at a 45 degree angle to avoid scraping....I was so mad..

I think someone posted once to heat it with a blow torch and pat it with a wash cloth to get the texture back in, or am I dreaming that?
-
I would try a heat gun first a torch could get out of hand pretty fast and you'll have a fun time explaining why you burnt down your SS to cover up your previous careless driving
