The Villages, where that specific rally was being held, is a model the world is using to protect seniors from the Wuhan Flu. Florida mobilized the National guard to that area en-mass in March, as well as other high elderly populations in the state, for testing, cleaning, building hospitals, and nursing home monitoring. Before many states enacted their first Covid actions. That specific area has the lowest retirement age and over death rate percentage of anywhere in the nation. Some claim the world. Also with a population two million higher than New York and a 30% larger elderly population we currently have the third highest testing rate in the nation with today a 3.6 % positive rate and four (4) deaths yesterday statewide of people who died with Covid. That is WITH, because every death in the state that tests positive, even if it is an 18 year old car accident victim who had no symptoms gets counted. With one of the highest populations and one of the highest testing rates of course we have more recorded positive cases. The math couldn't be simpler. If you are interested in facts then look up our hospitalization and recovery rates. Again, a model for the nation and we have been "open" for months. But those numbers, the reality of FL's success, and our current situation don't make good headlines, do they.

Mmmmmm, that Kool-Aid must be tasty.
Google, "Florida fires Covid scientist" some interesting reading to go with your "facts".
She was fired in June, allegedly because the Florida Governor didn't like the numbers. Interesting correlation with the official numbers. Florida was rising in June, then all of a sudden became "the model for the world". Hmmmm

Does anyone know if the FBI pays rewards to other militaries?
Seems like we should, but also seems like we shouldn't need to.

Ah yes, the "cases" argument ... we already covered this so as you like to ask...... do you have a reading comprehension problem or are you just ignoring the parts that don't fit your retort.
And dam man, one fired person had that much influence over the case reporting in FL .... you need to a do a bit more digging on that one and also read the reports from Physicians who where being pressured to list all deaths as Covid related at the same time.

When you replace the person in charge of the central hub of Covid data collection. Yes, one person can make the difference. Especially when a data person is replaced with a political lackey.
My parents live there, so I have a vested interest in Florida stats.

On a bright note. Look at the people, on camera, at today's Trump rally. Yay! Masks!

Good question, Typically it's worded as follows:
The U.S. Department of State, through its Narcotics Rewards Program, is offering rewards of up to $15 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Maduro Moros, up to $10 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Cabello Rondón, Carvajal Barrios, and Alcalá Cordones, and up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of Marín Arango.
My thoughts, I believe it's awarded for "information leading" indicating it's not for the actual act of arrest or other. Seems wise as any other action would be a paid mercenary act leaving lability placed on the US should anything go wrong.

We had a local Trump Parade - - - yea!!
not all of California is liberal - - here in my little corner there are still some reasonable people who can see past the popularity contest the left would like it to be - - here we still have people who will vote for the policies they want and not for who is the most likable
In the end being likable isnt what gets things done - sometimes it takes an obnoxious bulldog

...and (R)Snyder before her.
Both were/are good and bad. I personally don't think she is a dictator as Trump has convinced his base. There will always be moments with all politicians, Trump included, where I will say, "bravo, well done" and times where I will say, "WTF, seriously?!!".
I'm not one to cry about everything like most partisan whiners.
My parents have been well, thank you. They say they don't go out much at the moment.

You think the left doesn't vote for policies? I can tell you they very much do. Sorry, you can't understand how holding different things more dear than you still makes them policy based, America loving citizens.
You seem to have a, "My vision of America or you're un-American" attitude. Which is actually un-American.
Before you get all high and mighty. Yes, those on the left that hold that same mentality are un-American also. I would say that you are not in good company, but you do you big guy.

Yes - for the most part I think the left is all about "feelings" and they base their voting more on their feelings and emotions that on hard empirical data.
Heck I think you make your political choices primarily on your feelings and emotions - - I think your dislike and negative "feelings" for Trump are a huge driver of you voting decisions both in 2016 and now
I suspect your vote for Biden is more based on your emotional hate for Trump than it is on any hard data that you have seen that you believe shows he can do a better job than Trump
Oh and as a side note I do not consider "fear" to be a policy and so far in this election cycle that seems to be pretty much the only thing the left is pushing - fear of trump, fear of what ACB might do fear of COVID, fear of conservatives, fear of police, fear of everything and if you vote for us , the left you won't have to be afraid - - its all emotion driven BS and it seems to be the only thing the left has to sell

You got me. My dislike of Trump and Hillary as Presidential Candidates was a driver in me voting for (R)(I) McMullin in 2016. He actually had a chance if neither hit the needed vote count and he won Utah, which he was winning when I voted . I thought that whole process through. That is, by the way, next level thinking and a level of thought into a vote that I don't expect you to understand.
It is cute when you speak as if the left is the only side pushing fear. If you don't see it from the right, that means it worked on you. You're the thoughtful one, so you understand.
I have explained myself to you, over and over. You will never understand me, because you refuse to. Therefore you will most likely always be wrong when you think you know what I will do . It is so much fun knowing how wrong you are as you speak with confidence.
Think that over.

Bill Martin this should clinch your decision to move outta coonass country. Supposed to hit as a Category 1 on Wednesday but they’re guessing closer to New Orleans right now...

It is still a pitiful site back home - that no news reports on EVER - if it drifts west just a little and hits close to where the last two hit it could be the last nail in the coffin. Many, like myself, that are fortunate enough to get out are leaving in droves on a daily basis. Would it not be for all the petro chemical plants, LNG gas, and 3 casinos my poor city would never come back. As it is they are predicting TWO YEARS before things return to somewhat normal. Between COVID and hurricanes countless businesses have shut down - never to open again. My plan is to liquidate everything I have there and spend the rest of my days in the mountains NEVER having to worry about what’s brewing in the Gulf of Mexico again!! I wish em my best in coonass land....
