I don't know the law on such things - lawyers and such and rights may require a defendants approval for public release
on the other hand I do believe a day or so ago Trump was calling for this information to be released

The application and affidavit to get the warrant will say why. I'm betting the app and affidavit will remain sealed.

Info just leaked out about the documents they seized from Trump says the government was looking for sensitive nuclear documents and information. It did not say if it was OUR nukes or nukes from foreign countries. But they wanted them back under their control at all costs. It will be interesting how this plays out.
Don't lose sight on the elephant in the room that the feds are ignoring. This search warranty and seizure of documents could only happen and signed off by a federal judge if the government had enough evidence of a crime having been committed. I'm sure there's no jury that is going to believe that Trump himself went through the million or more documents produced during his 4 years in the white house and personally took them, placed them into 15 boxes and brought them to his house. While he ultimately would be responsible to some degree for the actions of his staff, trying to prove a felony with no evidence is a huge stretch and abuse of power. I'd love to know just what pile of bull shit the judge was given as being factual before he signed off on the warrant. It's going to get messey real quickly
