I just finished installing the fronts so I am now waiting for @Summer Breeze to get here to do the rear and then install the QA-1's on his Sling.

One of the things I like about the JRI coil overs is that the red springs did not cost extra

i am will be receiving the double QA1's from RNJ12 this week and was wondering the settings folks are running. I am a shock newbie and have searched for this on the forums and can not find it. Could you guys help a brother out?

I run mine soft for riding around here in the swamp land. I have my fronts set at 4 and my rear set at 2.

who said the pictures had to be cell phone snaps? - - feel free to use your digital camera, or if your still using film thats okay - the photo counter at the pharmacy can digitize them for you

On my QA1 shocks I have two way adjustable (ride height and rebound). My rebound is set to lowest setting and stills feels stiff. I have 250# springs in front and 350# spring in rear. Wonder if I went too stiff on springs.

were the JRI's pre set to the same ride height as stock or did you have to adjust them?

Having dirt bikes for so many years with adjustable shocks, I always rotate them to full hard on the clickers, count the clicks all the way out to soft and start in the middle +2 on the hard side. If its 22 clicks total start at 11 out from hard and move in 2 click increments + or - to your preferred feel. I have the JRI'S and love them. I have my settings written down in the glove box and believe I am +4 in the front and +6 rear from the middle. I have not messed with the ride height (preload) on the shocks, they were supposed to be set based on vehicle weight. Hope that helps.

On the QA-1's I ran 2 clicks front and rear most of the time and 6 in the hills

@FunCycle any particular reason why you changed from QA/1 to JRI 2way?

A firmer Sway Bar does not negatively affect ride comfort of your shocks but gives you the firmness so you have less body roll.
IMHO the sway bar sucks on stock coil overs but controls body roll

I think you mean featureLESS phone

Just as long as they don't have to watch you shake it like a Polaroid picture

Let us see how you down load that Poloriod. I can get the internet on my flip phone, I just can not see it without glasses.
