It is $370 to $820 depending on speaker selection and if you get an amp. On their page, select "Services", then audio, then scroll down to slingshot. They have several things there.

I love the head unit, but I don't use the Car Play. I don't care for it.

I went with this set up, it allowed me to retain a little cubby space for odds and ends and still have a large touch screen to boot. -
@Canoehead, please elaborate! And if you include item numbers or links and any install feedback (cutting or trimming, etc) that would be great!
-
@MiM Since I did this 2 years ago I don't have any part numbers or links. All I can remember is that it's a Metra single din kit I think for a Ford (extra trimming or tab removal on that piece required) The stereo is a Dual. It actually sounds pretty good with the stock speaker pods and is universal back up camera compatible.

Check out the wakeboard speakers I installed. Iam waiting on one it was backordered. I use a Pyle 400 bluetooth amp and a smart phone. The sound is excellent! Just some cleanup of the wires and its all done. Speakers were 180 a pair 6x9. No brackets needed they bolt right on the rollbar.

Here is how us poor guys put in a radio. Marine radio so no problem with water. Sells for about $250.00 and slides in place, without any cutting or changing. I like you guys set up much better, but here is another example. -
Pioneer head unit I changed out the speakers with Polk audio. Sounds very nice and clear.Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app

I've tried 2 different double din radios in my sling. With the angle of the dash, you need a Trans reflective display, and a bright one at that, to see the screen. Next, I built a dash in which I installed a Jensen VX7012 with an adjustable screen angle. Sadly, when I got the angle low enough to mitigate the sun, I was kinda of looking at the backside of the screen.
I have now built a second dash that houses a Boss marine radio. This unit uses an lcd screen which can be viewed in sunlight. Next, I got a 7 inch optically bonded monitor that's installed in the stinger portion of my top. I use this for backup camera and rear view mirror by using two cameras in the SS tail and a video switch mounted in the stinger. On the windscreen support I mounted my Escort, an action cam and a Garmin Zumo 595 (which has the Trans reflective display and is readable in sunlight. The Marimekko radio is designed to mount in a standard 3" gauge hole so I had lots of room for switching. Almost all functions are now controlled from this switch panel, including a replacement on/off for the guard dog keyless ignition as a pb for the accessory switch. This is the best that I've come up with and so far, I'm happy with it. -

Everyone that is running the double DIN Pioneer NEX systems, how well can you see the screen in sunlight?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Usually I can see it ok, but sometimes it does get completely washed out when the sun is directly behind beaming down on it. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it though.
