Have a Timeout camper. 350 pounds unloaded. Pulled behind two wheels for 10 years. Traded 2 wheels for my Slingshot and now need a good trailer hitch. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Trailer hitch for Slingshot

Just two choices shown...but there are a few more. Check out Slingshot Only or Sling Mods. There other Hitches. I just can't think of them right now. C.R.S. and all.

I suffer from C.R.S.quite a bit myself. Thanks for the info. Will check out your suggested sites.

With the swingarm recall, etc. I would steer clear of anything that attaches to the swing arm or rear axle

Swing arm recall? Haven't heard about that yet. I did look at two hitches, one that mounted below the shock and another that mounted below the shock then too a bolt on the brake assembly. Not to sanitary looking especially if the trailer gets squirrelly because of a blow out etc.....

I have the Wycked Hitch and I couldn't be happier

Thanks Solow. Just checked hitch out online. The pictures you sent make it even more interesting.

Welcome to The Light side @DeputyDawg Glad to have you here

What does CRS mean - can't remember...

Thanks Wrenchmn

Just completed a thousand mile round trip using the Alpha hitch with a Bushtec in tow. Couldn't tell it was there. It's mounted to the swingarm.

Thanks Jim. I will check it out. Had to haul my camper to last rally in October on a trailer behind wife's van. Ready to pull it with the Slingshot. Can't wait.

I'm liking what I see with the Wycked hitch. Different configurations make it real nice.

It'll easily pull your trailer and then some

Wycked is the best IMO as it uses the frame and not the lower swing on r back axle.
@DeputyDawg search the forum for recall. @rabtech did a sticky on it.

With the recall, I would also wait to ensure that it fits, but Alpha has a great hitch as well.

I HEARD??? Don't know if this is fact but so says Polaris is gonna warranty all swingarms sold up to recall but if you attach a hitch to them after the repair - you are on your own.

Thanks MBMedic and Bill Martin. The swing arm mount hitches and the frame mount hitches all look great. My main concern is the camper I pull. It's rated at 350 lbs unloaded but I pull it loaded at around 475 to 500 lbs. Tongue weight between 30 and 35 lbs. I just need to be sure that a hitch will carry it. Does anyone know if someone is pulling a Timeout, Bunkhouse or any other camper? I believe a frame mount would be better in my case.
