What happened slingshotroadsters.com?

Works okay when I tried it just now...

When I tried to go there just now, my AV software reported threats and blocked the page. I usually use Chrome and I got the same message when I tried Firefox. Could be my AV is a little too enthusiastic.

No its probably reporting correctly. He may have a virus on it again...He mentioned to me the other day that someone had hacked his forum and he had to have the company that maintains his site to clean it up for him.

I'm sure he will get them to fix it soon...

They were updating the site

Just tried it, using Chrome and worked great, no problems

Yea, i just checked it..... it does have a confirmed malware infection. I will text him and let him know.

It looks like it is one of those irritating redirect deals that send you to another website without you knowing...

It happens to everyone eventually. I am sure he will get it fixed quick

I think what is happening is AVG is reporting seeing REMNANTS of a previous virus on the site. I don't "THINK" that the site is actually carrying a payload. Ivor is aware and he is having the hosting company take another look at it..

I agree that could be the situation. Like I posted earlier, I was wondering if my AVG was just a little too sensitive.

Thanks Rab.Have got our web people onto it.As I said it happened a couple of weeks ago.Our web people went to work on it and both Google and them confirmed it was all clear.I have been receiving registrations people are on the site.All seems ok but as we discussed it could be some remnants.They are working on it now

Our web people found a little bit of Malaware which was probably due to the residue from when we cleaned it out 2 weeks ago
We use Wordpress so to be 100percent safe we decided to move the entire website to an entirely new Wordpress account.Our web people did that earlier today.
http://www.slingshotroadsters.com is running smoothly,100percent clean,no malaware no nothing.We have also gone to an added expense of installing a top Firewall which Our people can monitor to see what's going on etc etc.
Bunch of Hackers out there.Pisses me right off that we have to go to such expense to protect it.
Guess it's the age but everyone feel free to go to site,look at events U se it register for events etc etc etc.
All is good.

I've been trying to get on this site for more than a month, I screwed up when registering my age and it says that no one under 13 is allowed on the site -- I've emailed the site three times to try and get this corrected ( tried again just a few minutes ago ) still no luck.

Whenever an email is sent to the site.I always reply and put it right.Your post says you emailed 2. Hrs ago.No email has been received from you today.There obviously is something wrong if you emailed three times during the past month as these have not been received.

I suggest send me a message to ivorwing@gmail.com advising what your online name is.

Was finally able to access the site w/o my AVG software going nuts!
