He definitely comes off as smug on all his videos. But the fact that he said "you could do what everyone else is doing..." or buy a slingshot, was a nice change of pace from him.

I can say with confidence that at this point after having the Slingshot as my daily driver for well over 6 years if I were going to go back to a car at this point it would absolutely have to be a convertible sports car of some kind - - I think it would drive me nuts not to be able to look up and see the sky and feel the wind.
Miata perhaps, except last time I tried I didnt really fit as well as I would like, but its been a very long time so perhaps the newer ones have better leg room

I went and checked out a miata...and at 6 ft 260lbs...a Miata wasn't cutting it for me. Especially with the top up. I felt claustrophobic.
my daughters first car was a used Miata. when she first got it she hadn't learned to drive a manual transmission yet so I met her at the sellers place so I could drive it home for her. I'm 6'1" and just a tad over 200 lbs and I felt very cramped in it, mostly a lack of leg room, but I have always loved the looks of that car and perhaps the newer ones have better leg room - just know as long as I live here in the desert I cant go back to being closed in every time I drive - slingshot has spoiled me
