I found a 3D model of a Slingshot to be able to 3D print, it is not my design.
When I have a chance, I will try to print it with my 3D printer.

it will take a while. The estimated running time alone is 16 hrs plus cleaning and finishing.
Hopefully next weekend I have a chance to start it

You mean it will run??? You might want to make it a bit larger...
Just kidding as usual mytoy . LargeCar recently gifted me some pieces he made including a couple articulated animal figures and a simple horseshoe shaped piece for holding the stupid vapor barrier open on the gas pumps that have them. Super simple and works awesome! After talking with some guys who have gotten into 3D printing, I'm thinking this would be a fun hobby for me - after I get caught up a bit more on life. It sounds like it takes up a LOT of spare time.

Maybe try some of CHEPs cura fast print profiles.
I use them and they do a excellent job.
May fire up my 3D printer today and get started on that slingshot.

Can't 'like", so lets just hope your dealer gets it moving quickly.
If I didn't owe so much on it I would trade it in for a stick shift.
I did start the printing with the tires and rims, still have to fine tune it This is a three-part assembly.
Hi, I fine tuned the 3D Printer and scaled the model up. You can even see the brake rotors and calibers
Here you can see the upscaled parts and the original ones
How big is your printer bed?
This thread caused me to want to ask 3D printer owners - What type of 3D Printer do you have and are you happy with your 3D Printer?
