Seems like I remember someone posting the replacement blank awhile back. I'm sure someone will chime in soon enough. Once you have the blank, any key cutter should be able to duplicate it. If it's cheap enough, might get two and have two cut. That will virtually guarantee that you will never lose another one!

Thanks, I’ve looked in every possible place that I’ve been in in the last week and it’s just nowhere to be found. I don’t usually loose thing like this.
I’ll buy a six pack and have spares for anyone that needs one ☝️ -

Thank you Tripod. I’ve found a pair of key blanks on eBay for $9.95. I’ll get
my local ACE hardware to cut them for me.
I love this Forum, you guys are TOP Shelf when it comes to helping us newbie out. I’m not sure which I like most , the Slingshot or the forum. -

It's ALWAYS in the last place you look. Why would you keep looking for it AFTER you've already found it? First sign of getting old maybe?

You can get ILCO Key blank KW14. You will need to find a locksmith that has a deep throw key duplicator. The head on the factory key is so large that it will interfere with a regular key duplicator. I have used the ILCO KW14 to have keys made for several of our local Slingshot owners and they work great. Keep a spare key in my wallet.

I don't know about the last place you look, but for sure you're gonna find it about 5 minutes after you finish spending money and time to buy the blanks and get the spares cut.... -
I don't know about the last place you look, but for sure you're gonna find it about 5 minutes after you finish spending money and time to buy the blanks and get the spares cut....That has happened to me so many times I can't remember them all. (may be dementia) I'm beginning to think its just old age cuz a lot of thing keep disappearing around my house, all started with my 60th birthday.

I'm in trouble. I'm having the same problem you are @MWSlingshot, and have been for about 3-5 years. I'm still 2 months from my 58th birthday....

One time I lost my cell phone and was certain it was in my wife's car so I turned on the Bluetooth and called it. Sure enough, the car would ring but I could not find the phone. I searched it several times and eventually pulled the seats out. No phone. I eventually found it in the breast pocket of the suit I wore to a wedding the night before, hung up in a closet in a bedroom above the garage - close enough for the Bluetooth to connect. I wasted half a day on that one!

Also the HY-KO blank number KA-20 will also work. But is a large key, about the same size as the stock key. I think this was the first blank we found that would work, it is my spare and is in my pocket all of the time.
