SLINGSHOTS IN THE SMOKIES 2016 (Tue, May 31st 2016 - Sun, Jun 5th 2016)

• Three's da Life crew was intercepted, interrogated and released... Shack decided to avoid acid rain and departed earlier during the day...I'm sure of spotting him on the ships radar as he departed.
• @Ruptured Duck reported a nemesis1701 sighting but failed to identify himself......so Now I'm pissed because I wanted to meet him and take a picture with him in his jeep. This a man that didn't stop at anything and decided to show up with or without his kick ass SS.
• I asked and was told that @MACAWS was out and about filming some God knows what type of film so I missed my chance of ice cream and to give my buddy a hug.
• @j4henry has some serious shine that I didn't get to taste ....it was promised to make me blind!
• I think I had a @Spudinator sighting
• Profiling sucks!

So around 1400 (military time) I headed out to tame the Dragon and tame the MOFO i did! Thats what the the SS is all about......twisties....and more twisties....and then it rained ..and it rained hard....IFR half way up and all the way down......my SUMI rear tire performed superbly at 32psi thanks @kenny_h not once did it hydro.
I missed all the fun you all had but maybe next year!

So here is a pic as it is right now at 8PM in Blue Ridge Ga. Stealth mode ready for a week of back roads cause I'm staying a few more days.

Oh no the rain does suck! Was looking for you at raffle to deliver said blinding agent. .. .. I'll deliver next meeting maybe around July 4th

Big Slingshot Parade in Maggie Valley. Not sure of the numbers that turned out, but at least one hundred and twenty five. One long line of Slingshots with Police escort through the town of Maggie Valley. Rollout at 6:30 pm. At about 6:52 pm, raindrops! By 6:56, 4/5ths of the riders had bailed. Approximately fourteen Slingshots were still following the Police lead escort upon return passing of the Comfort Inn. We bailed at that point.
Unfortunately, we were shooting video and are unable to provide the evidence at this time. Hopefully, someone will post up some pics soon.

@Guardian_Angel and I apologize. Did we mention that the WIFI here sucks. Not even gonna fight it tonight.

We roll for home tomorrow, wet or dry. We are packing in preparation for a wet ride out.

Thoroughly enjoyed SSITS 2016.

Hey my brother I am so sorry I missed you. Yep we volunteered to do some filming for an event promo but we thought it was going to be a few quick passes on the Blue Ridge that got rained out the day before. But it stretched into a trip to Gatlinburg. Got caught up in a storm on the way back so most of the day was lost. But missing you was my biggest loss. You be safe and I will pack buckets of Ice cream in my sling for the next meet up. Georgia in late July or Biketoberfest.

I just wanted to thank everyone for an awesome family reunion. I got to put faces to screen names and hang with the best group of people anywhere.
We are booked for next year.
Just finished loading up and going to take a quick nap before we roll out.

Had a blast! Met several great people and sorry I didn't get to meet some of the regulars who are on here. Didn't care much for the rain, but had to happen some time! Especially grateful for comments of some on the group rides who discovered the little ole lady could keep up pretty well! I'm sure there were those who cringed. God willing, Slingshots Across America is next!

Well the rally is over now until next year. I just wanna tell everybody that I met, that I have known for so long, exceeded all my expectations. It never crossed my mind when I bought this crazy new 3 wheel vehicle that I would make friends from all over the country. I just want all of you to know if you EVER pass thru coonass land you will be welcome at my house anytime of the day or night. All you guys give yourself a pat on the back for being so awesome!'!!!! Thank you for the privilege of meeting you all.

This post isn't meant to take anything away from the winner of the Bike Show yesterday. I like the blue SS. If yall remember I had mine a very close blue color one time.

With that said, I hate to say this. But I would have probably disappointed everyone at the show and shine event. I know what it takes to for the guys with multi thousand dollar rides to put them together. And I can and do appreciate their extreme talent.

BUT the winner is CLEARLY on the left in this picture. I think IF we all dig deep in our hearts we would have to pick the "original" real deal POLARIS SLINGSHOT!

We all know that matte white snow colored Slingshots are the fastest and clearly the show winner! Lol,,,, just kidding.

@adventure4me, your personality shines brightly, and yes, I was very impressed by your driving abilities... Maybe a little jealous even so grateful to have met you. You left an impression on me and Lori ( Mrs.BigRedSS) both... Safe travels to you and tell your brother you did the Dragon the way it was meant to be done with the pedal down...
