I am assuming she had the weapon VERY safely concealed. Guns come and go - hooters are forever
What do you carry

As a single guy I'm stuck with how best to advise you on how for you to check her makeshift holster without getting shot.
Ahh, you know, we've both been carrying for years. She carries a lot (since she has the kids all day), and she has multiple gun/holster combos. This was her first time carrying while running. Learning experience. We'll be modifying the plan (and probably the contents of the safe)!

Been alternating between my Bersa 380cc and my 9mm...every time I leave the house I am carrying.... Started using this holster which is really nice, no hard plastic to cut into you when bending or sitting and one holster for all my carry guns....

@mytoy, do you OC or CC that?? That looks pretty full-sized...like the size of one of my 1911s?

Damn, son. That's a handful. Carry on!

Well with this one a near miss is still good enough

Sounds like married speak for the next date night including a lot of hands on option considerations and conceptual testing of size and rebound calculations and recalculations ... all kidding aside sounds like a good learning experience is going to turn into a great result where safety is king

We have date night every other Friday (except when real life intervenes) at the pistol range, shooting IDPA. She has gotten very confident drawing from a holster from concealment, presenting, firing, reloading, etc. This is just another facet we hadn't considered...but we're going to address it!

I carry a Sig P938 9 mm the wife a P238 380 in the summer. When it gets cooler I carry a Kimber Ultra carry CDP 45
Nice collection! My wife's primary carry (OC/CC) is a Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II, and her BUG is a p938. We love them both!

My wife is a second degree black belt in karate trained in knife, bow staff, nunchucks, and carries a gun. I never talk back and say yes dear to everything she says.

S&W .380 Bodyguard with lazer sight everywhere. If I'm awake and not in the shower I have it on me at all times. There are places I'm not supposed to carry, and I tend to obey those most of the time. I have a Ken Onion Kershaw easy open knife with me always also. Like Slolane, when it's cooler out I carry a Kimber .45 ACP, but mine is the Custom Crimson Carry II. It's full size, use it with a shoulder holster under a leather vest or jacket. I only carry that when I know it will be cool out and I'll not be shedding the jacket or vest.
I'm new here, as far as posting goes. I've been reading here long before I joined. I haven't posted a lot, but I am in here reading nearly every day. I'm thankful for this forum.... the humor, the insights, and the info on tech have made this one I really enjoy coming to.
