Didn’t know where else to throw this little anecdote so thought I’d just throw it on this thread...
The registration on my SUV expires at the end of February 2021. Got the renewal notice in the mail today. So, went online, paid the fee (new registration & sticker will come in the mail). Meanwhile, they send me an email with a printable “Temporary Registration” - it expires 2/14/21... WTF?!

Well I'll jump in with my year end story. I've been sitting on three 2-acre lots since I completed the development in 2008. Prices for rural property plummeted and I've been waiting for them to come back before marketing the lots again. I put up a FSBO craigslist ad in the middle of December and just concluded negotiations this afternoon for a contract sale on two of them and will sign the contract on Monday. I'm also negotiating a contract sale on the 3rd and expect to finish that up next week.
Here's the kicker: I priced them 77% higher than I estimated their value at the end of 2019! I guess that's my 'covid effect' for the year.

In Northern Indiana is a nice house goes on the market at a fair price there will be several offers on it when in a day or so. It's just nutz.
