95% of my ammo is reloads and stored in those 50 round plastic boxed. Except for my .223 rounds that are in ammo cans. Now that you can't find reloading components my supply is ammo is going down and empty plastic boxes piling up.

Only downside is with another shelf to the left of this I have to use a green screen in my office or work or people start to think things...
You mean like, 'Nice starter collection.' or 'Where's the rest?'
Just kidding, I've got ammo envy. That's still better than 'post ammo letdown' at the end of range day.

Cool but way to big to carry - plenty lead in it for home defense if ever invaded by zombies

I saw this a couple weeks ago. It's a neat concept. I would imagine it would be pretty heavy with a fully loaded 50rnd magazine in it. The only other downside would be the cost of ammo. I THINK there are only a couple companies that make that round so ammo cost would be high unless you reload. It's a really cool fast round through. I had an FN57 for a hot minute. I hated paying the high cost of ammo which was also hard to find locally and it turned into a safe queen so I sold it. Most of the Keltec firearms I've used were good. But I had a PMR30 that literally fell apart. The safety fell off a couple times and I got rid of that and I had a KSG I also got rid of for extraction issues that were common. But I think this is neat.

At 3.2 lbs empty it weighs less than a Desert Eagle but I wonder about the balance when loaded. The horizontal mag is a pretty cool concept for carrying 50 rounds. I'd like to see them do this with other calibers to get my attention. Not to sound shallow but for a grand it's kinda fugly. There are some works of art out there that I would target for that price.

Not gonna lie; it's uglier than a traffic accident in a Yugo.
If I remember correctly the mag concept is based of a weapon used in WWII.
About a year ago I remember watching stories about how Antifa and their ilk wanted to take their terrorism to the suburbs. So since then I've toyed with the idea of getting either an AR or a 9mm carbine in case a group of them come to my neighborhood. (I know, an odd worry). I a wee bit in the country so it would take the police a bit to arrive and I want to be able to protect the homestead.

I have the 9mm carbine by Hi Point but wish I had got it in 45.

Think a .22LR isn’t an effective round? Even shooting subsonic rounds it’s quite deadly - it’s all about shot placement.
(I use the same model suppressor on my 10/22 & several other.22’s that I own).
Scroll to the 3 minute mark if you’re in a hurry...

Love it! He was close it looks like and why he got away with it. You know, subsonic .22 and usually you just get a "click" those hogs ran like they heard it! I was impressed with how that pig didn't do the drop, kick, spin in circle like most do. Awesome shot!!
.22LR impresses me. Actually same ballistic arc from 0-300 meters as it is with a .308 out to 1000 meters. I shoot a .22 "belly match" with my wife where it's setup like a PRS match 1 shot per target and then we go out to 300 meters. Fun hitting steel at over 250 and just like a 1k shot with .308 you wait then "ting"... Ruger makes the can on this one, vortex glass on top.

I have been accused by many people to belong to the Gun of the Month Club. Active member for several years but no room left for another gun safe.
