Slingshot Review

Hey rabtech , Dave@DDMWorks & Kyle D , sounds like we need to see if you can hit that 220mph with that "Chevy engine"!
I love how he says "it's not really a daily, usable vehicle" - and then smiles from ear to ear!

What's awesome is it is missing the cover over the battery since it probably died while sitting there

Sounds like he is full of it. SH$$
-
He needs to wear some eye protection and to get more info on vehicles he's reviewing. He didn't even know there was storage behind the seats.
-
Well, he didn't trash it like some other writers.
But all in all, fairly weak review.

Doug Demuro typically does very thorough reviews, but this was definitely one of his weaker ones. Not knowing about the storage space behind the seats and not realizing it has a backup camera were the biggest detriments. Not realizing the windshield was not the standard Ripper shield and not wearing any eye protection, then complaining about the wind was very unlike him as well.
I'm going to take a guess that this Slingshot was likely a trade-in at CNC, so they didn't have all of the usual information to pass to Doug about the history, features, and purpose of the vehicle like they typically do. Hell, he said it was a 2018, but it had the 2015-2017 radio and not the Ride Command, so someone gave him bad/little info. There's really no excuse to not know about the behind-seat storage and reversing camera at all though.

He did not prepare for the review. So that says a lot about his reviews.

Which is very unlike him.
