Thanks @Tripod ur my greatest supporter. We're getting closer to the end. What will we all do then. I'll miss you all. You'll miss my posts. Been thinking about that a lot this last few days. I think I have no idea how many tune in. Might be a bigger number than I think. People on the alpha site were making comments hey is that the slingshot garage guy from the forum. Maybe I should start a Mark's weekly thread. So many have enjoyed this. And I've gotten really good at writing posts. Maybe it's my calling to do more writing. I was once completely terrified to even make a post. And look at me now. You definitely had a part in it. I'm really proud of this thread and you should be too because without your encouragement there would be no thread. I went from having no friends and feeling lost to having possibly several hundred and feeling really good about myself.
Thank you Brother.
Much love
My trip to Alpha Powersport EH!

Superman, here's your thought for the day: (which you are currently doing!)

Awesome, just awesome. Making memories. No other feeling like it. What a great story!

The wild Canadian Adventure continues!!!

You have a my total admiration for that, my friend! I am in awe of all you have accomplished on this trip- You have done what many of us cannot even fathom TRYING
It's only impossible until it's possible. Don't know where I picked that up. But I tell myself and Izak that all the time. Never let someone tell you that you can't do something. Do to medical condition or otherwise. You can overcome anything if you put your mind to it. Where would we be if we just said that's impossible.

@Slingshot Garage. You should consider a "Campfire Stories" blog/thread once you get home. I'm certain I your daily life running a campground is more exciting than the average guy and I would love to read great stories regularly. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

More like "Super Dad"!

Heh, I am so glad your trip is playing out like more of the adventure it is rather than the nightmare I got, lol. Can't really complain though, like you said, talking through these forums is one thing, but when you get to tie a face to the name, it makes them mean that much more!
I am hoping to get down to Rushmore this year too. Seems silly to have not seen it yet when it is only a day's drive away. Looking forward to the scenery.
Enjoy your home stretch travels.

Man, I don't visit the forum one day and feel so lost about this adventure... Will go back and catch up as time permits, but keep going Mark!

Brought in some help at the RV park so the guys won't be overwhelmed with work when they get back. The whole park is almost mowed, the pootine is being looked after and your littlest fella is finally breathing better so he's headed to soccer for the first time since you left. Enjoy your trip home- the only work you'll have to do this week is take the kids on a trailer ride. And love your rediculous cat I suppose- it's stalking me as I'm working on the grounds!
I love you muffin! Xoxo -
So we headed to Sturgis this morning. The weather was awesome so we decided to go straight through and head to the devils tower as per @Tripod suggestion. Turns out that was the best advise ever. we went out the deadwood way and got to the turn off to the devils tower. And there was 6 newer corvettes in front of us. Got to follow the train of vettes all the way there. Was so much fun.the red one was in back and when I came up on him he almost drove off the road watching me in his mirror I'm sure. Kept up with them no problem at all. And the road out there is simply spectacular. Didn't go fast but was a blast all the same. They pulled off at one point so I did too just to say thanks was a blast following them. They tried to shake us in the corners and I'm sure we're suprised this little red thing hung with them no problem They parked in a line with me right at the back.so we jumped out to grab a pic or two. And that many hot corvettes where do the people go.... the slingshot lol. I think they were a little insulted I stole all thier attention lol. Grabbed some pics of the devils tower and headed back. The way back we went quite a bit faster had to them roads are so twisty and awesome made for the slingshot like 3/4 of a tank of gas fun lol.

Headed back to Sturgis ofter the devils tower. Grabbed lunch a hotel room and headed out to explore. Izak wanted to check out the motorcycle museum and hall of fame. Went souvenir shopping and walked around and checked out downtown. Dropped by the Harley dealer for some patches for a friend of mine and Izak. Spent the rest of the afternoon walking around checking stuff out. There's a lot of history there it's a motorcycle meca after all. What an awesome day! Fun filled and action packed.

Well gotta start to head home tomorrow. We have the rodeo this weekend and it should be busy. The rodeo is the same as the calgary stampede it stops in sundre first before moving on to calgary. Cool eh! Get the same show without the tourist trap prices. And the venue is smaller so it's more up close and personal.

That is awesome @Slingshot Garage!
If it's all 5 or 6, that's over $300K dollars worth of vehicles that your (now because of the turbo upgrade) $30K vehicle outshines...
