Anyone here ever done their own strut change? Doesn't have to be a Chevy, just have a general question.

Its an easy job, your going to need spring compressors or bring them to a shop to have them pull/replace the springs.
On a side note you just have to be very careful when removing the nut for the top hat because its under a ton of pressure if the spring compressor fails.

What vehicle. I’ve replace struts on several of my vehicles. Some require spring compressor some don’t. Are you needing to change the entire strut or can you change strut cartridges ?
