- If any of you guys or gals here use a storage facility to store your Slingshot? If so, how is it working out for you & what size do you rent? I'm thinking 10'x15' should be fine.
Public Storage?

you're PUBES are not meant to be stored!

Mom! I know who stole the Rum Cake!!

10x15 should work. Be sure your insurance covers your sling when in storage. You may need a renters policy on the storage unit.

Thanks for the info! It sucks not having a garage. I've been hesitant to buy one for that reason. I started thinking about the public storage option.

I was looking into public storage also. I ended up buying a trailer. It will pay for itself in a couple years compared to rent . I can then sell it and get some money back.

That would be a nice option. If I had somewhere to put the trailer. What size trailer did you buy? This will be my last lease here. If everything goes as planned

A 14 x 8.5 works perfect with room for other stuff. Works great for storage and/or hauling

That's really nice! Did you have to add your own tie down rings?
-
when I bought the trailer I had them add 3 pieces of track and I use the tiedowns that strap around the tire, not the wheel. I'm taking @MACAWS lead and painting the walls and floor as well as adding a few storage items so that everything I need will be in there. I have $5700 in it so far including the straps and track. Pretty reasonable. You just need a pickup to pull it, an SUV (short of a Tahoe, etc) won't cut it.

You have a beautiful dragon wagon sir!
Love that truck! -

I've seen those tracks. It seems to be a easier & safe option.

@jorgebri60, I just finished installing my trailer with E track getting ready to go to ES. I use the same over tire strap. My only problem is mine is 20 foot. I use it for other hauling as well. You gonna make it to ES? If anyone is looking for this track and straps, U S Cargo has best prices, better than Amazon.

Public storage maybe if they have someone watching the property 24/7

A guy a few blocks away from me has a PODs box in his driveway...and a watch for motorcycles banner in the yard...I'm thinking he rents the box to keep his bike in...don't know if it's wide enough to fit an SS.

That'll be a good option also. They offer a 16'x8'x8' that should work. If I had a place to put it.

Depends on your location, if you have HOA they would never ever allow a pods container or trailer in the driveway for an extended period of time. At least I know here they wouldn't.
