I like that very cool definitely shows the two shapes work great together when apart slightly. For me I would want that slightly above the rear camera height. Not too worried about rear view mirror because well I can't see anything back there anyways lol. Rely on the side mirrors for that. Great to see something different tho so good on ya @2SierraRomeo

I gave serious consideration to Underground's, but didn't like that I'd lose valuable rear visibility, my cockpit cover would no longer fit, and it wouldn't really solve the unfinished look from the rear.
Not doing a big ricer spoiler that doesn't solve anything either. Although I did look for one that could be mounted lower and much farther back than I've seen; something to balance out the rear and give a lengthened look to the whole vehicle... but no dice there.
So I threw around several ways I might mount Metricks', but pretty much anything too high blocked the tail lights, and my visibility. I settled upon this below, which gives me the added length I was looking for, plus doubles as a fender. Never really seen a fender I've liked either (though Metricks' is about the best I've seen). These actually aren't the final pictures, but turned out similar with some cleanup. I fiberglassed in some brackets to have it mount 3" - 4" behind where it was designed to, and fiberglassed my lighted license plate mount at an attractive swept-back angle.
This worked out really well, but I think with some tweaking on the design of his current mold, Metricks (or someone) could come up with something even better back there.
That is what I'm talking about!!! @kev

Nicely done @2SierraRomeo!!! Kuddos to you Sir!!

That really does lengthen the back end appeal, nice work ! @DKF Texas I take it from the angle of the cup, its too late to save the brush ? lol Been there, done that! I wonder , what about raising the plate up centering it with the wing centre line sweeping a fairing up to it from top and bottom of the wing , or maybe that gets the wing looking to bulky, ?

@DKF Texas this one does have me wondering, using that location, the three brackets you extended from underneath, in a new mold could be three towering pylons on top of the wing from about half way back the wing sweeping up to the lower deck mounting points and then something small below helping the pate, I do like your positioning of it the more I look at it

Here's one that should work...
almost bought that one lol since i am trying to do a batman theme.

oh sorry @DKF Texas and @2SierraRomeo, I missed who,s part that actually was took me longer to photo this sketch and post it then it did to sketch it so don't look for too much detail but I,m thinking swept back towering brackets like this, now what about that plate ?

I am totally good with the plate centered

Why not tuck the plate hanging from the underside of the sling. So it shows below the wing from in front of it. Make it part of the background and not a focal point of the wing.

sorry only spending about a minute live sketching gets messy , ten minutes to photo email to myself and upload lol Im liking the way @2Sierra Romeo kept plate back in I,m thinking get it back in to max and some sort of sweeping fairing up to bottom of wing and I think that's what @Slingrazor Is THINKING TOO ?

Like the idea of using the mounts in that location. Think that's gonna make the slingshot too long looking. Still think over the back deck will look better. With the bottom of the wing just above the camera. And no farther rear than the stock licence plate light. A proper wing would be up in the air flow my 2 cents anyways. Maybe time to break out the cardboard and tape lol.

yah @Slingshot Garage that's always a good possibility too, that was the original idea wasn't it, a forward swept wing just above the deck, Oh so many damn ideas , lol well I know I,m not touching this one as far as a plug till after M.V But I appreciate learning from what you guys like , lots of good ideas out there! and Glad to see @2SierraRomeo actually showing real mods

YAH you know a lot of custom choppers do it that way the plate hangs off to one side way in , it only has to be visible from a distance back , hell for that matter it could be way under the wing off to the left to offset the shock on the right side .

Hey if we can collectively design a wing as a group. And have you make it for us it's a win win. Many minds can make for an easier task. I'm really hoping this pans out.

Yah and Im reminded of that service rate sign you see on shop walls, labour $50.00 per hour , $75.00 if you help. LMAO ,,,no, seriously I appreciate the help as maybe I or someone else will be able to offer you guys some more products as a result of this type of discussion . I just had to get the Rate joke in before one of designer group discounts came in . lol

Plate like this. Hidden but visible.

Same here.
I considered it, very briefly, then looked harder for a cleaner version. Alas, no such luck.
