Saturday Finally the new hub adapter arived.
Thanks @MiM for the advice on the Forever Sharp one. Much shorter and it looks way better than the assault one.
Put it on and it was a perfect match and straight as it should be. Not in an angle like the assault that make the clock crack.Still can't reach the lever but the lever extender is on its way with tnx to @BKL @WOLF & @slingmods
and installed some LED headlights.

@philip_mustang We both now have very similar setups. I hope you are having a good time with this as it is working well for me.
My latest work is finishing off some storage for a trip to Ireland soon.

Yes! I can concur hubs!!!
Just not mine...

Yesterday I installed 2 pairs of Dual Halo's (DRL + Turn signal)
Since Tricled doesn't sell them with the same look as the smoked strips I had to try something else because I really don't like the look of those yellow patches on the ligths.
So I just bought some regular halo's with covers. Filled the back of the covers with silicone to seal them up and glued them to the black plastic.
There is a slight difference in diameter between the outer and inner lights. The outer ones are 95mm and the inner ones 100mm.I personally think they came out great.
Here is a video

These sell different diameters but the 95mm are gone and I can't find any of them on Ali.
The 100mm are a perfect fit for the inner ones but just to big for the outer ones. 95mm is perfect for those.
Found these 95mm but don't know if they look the same

I just added a power socket for 2 usb's
If there is one thing that I really miss on the SS it is the ability to charge the phone in a convenient way.
Using the lighter in the glovebox isn't practical and the one on the back makes that the wire is hanging next to you.My first idea was to drill a hole and put it in the (yellow) sidewall but I wasn't sure about how it would look.
So I just made a small bracket and attached it with the screw next to the display. If the cover is on it's hardly visible. But when the cover is off you can also read the voltage.

Nice work @philip_mustang my gps cord hangs down and into the glovebox that would be a great solution for it too

Not a mod this time but some friends asked me to join the group of riders in the Jumborun.
It a big fest with a lot of bikes for children with special needs. It was the 47th time and some drivers were there for the 47th time.
163 drivers, even bikers from different countrys: Netherlands, France, Germany and even some from the UK.
A guy from the Netherlands (5h drive one way) did it for the 44th time. He was 69.
One can only have a huge respect for guys like that. Some looked like very tough guys, lots of leather and tattoo's ... but hearts of gold!Only trikes /sidecars are allowed to be able to take one of those children as a passenger.
I was (off course) the only Slingshot and it got a lot of attraction. Nobody had ever seen anything like it.
But there were also a lot of other special things to see.And I must admit I was really overwhelmed that day.
We drove more than 60 miles and there were people cheering for us all the way we drove. Bands playing, people with funny costumes, banners, if we passed a church the bells were ringing,... sometimes it brought a tear in my eyes to see how many people were doing their best with all their hart to give those kids a very special day.Great organisation with 3 trucks full with wheelchairs and they were all perfectly lined up where the stop was at noon. All the wheelchairs stood ready at the stop with the number of the bike.
An unforgettable day!
For those who wanna see more pics.

It has been a long time since I've done some new upgrades.
Today I had an unexprected day off and since it wasn't to cold in the garage I finally had the oppertunity to install my Underground Powdercoated rings.
The leds are Magic led strips I bought somewhere else.
So many different programs to run. Still need to see them all.Together with the strips I bought some "whip lights".
They look cool but I got to figure out where I install them.
Idea's are welcomeAnd if I have the time saturday, another thing is finally going to be installed

Today was the time to get the Tricled Illuminated doorsills on. They have been here for almost 2 month.
I really like the result.
You can see them even when the other xmas lights are on
Now I'm gonna have to wait till the package arrives from Alpha! If all goes well ...
-
@philip_mustang I picked up an email from the great guys at SlingMods, at the end of last week, saying my set of Tricled Illuminated doorsills, (In red,) are now on the way to me.
They look great on your SS. I'll post pictures when I fit them but I expect that it will be next year Now, when the weather is warmer.
-
You will be happy about them. Everything from Tricled is (and looks) so good!
