Here is a little bit better look at the speakers since I cleaned the foam off the backplate. And I also screwed in the top plastic .
Looks Loud!

I either drive or listen to music, I do not do both at the same time
If I get within 100 yards of you i bet you will listen to music and drive!
I'm going to run the new 700/5 JL amp and try to get away with it powering all my speakers. It's so much cleaner with 1 amp. I can add the other 400/4 JL for the headrest speakers if needed.
I'm about to mount the front pods and the speakers in the headrest and test this puppy. I am walking slow today. But it's ok because I'm not in a big hurry to get anywhere. Today is my daughter's SR prom so there are people and kids everywhere around here today.
I'm hoping this amp isn't to wide ro fit under the seat. I can't pick up my drivers seat so I'm having to measure with a tape. It looks like it will work just fine but you never know.
Hope it goes well.
I am finding it difficult to get a good sound balance between the front, side, and rear speaker pods.
The rear pods seem to dominate.
And it doesn't help that I mounted the amp to far under the seat - no matter how far I slide the seat, can't get to the adjustments on the amp.
Have taken the drivers seat out a few times - but will eventually get tired of that and will reposition the amp.
Yea. You have to mount it toward the back of the floor pan. I have my headrest speakers on a seperate zone. I have a feeling they will need to be turned way down.
I am getting closer. I can't bend over so it's taking a bit longer. However everything in the back end is now rattle proof. I have zip tied, gorilla taped, or glued everything loose that might rattle.
I guess I need to put that new 2018 sticker on my tag.
Pennsylvania just stopped issuing stickers for license plates. Send Save the state money

First cool picture of the weekend.

Its a slow go... But I'm making progress . To be honest the most time consuming thing is running all the wires for the LED lights.

Nobody with a picture of soap on a rope...
Got to be bed time somewhere. I am wore out and haven't done anything today, See y'all in a few hours after my nap...

@rabtech maybe I missed it but have we seen the final result to all this work. Just wondering what the heck it looks like now.
I went out to the garage at 6am and tightened the bolts in the seats and harnesses. I just came back inside to solder up some more LED lights and I'll head back out there in about an hour. I will have her on the ground today for sure.
After they did a CT they decided it was the bulged disk in my back that had me hurting. Lots of steroids shrank it just enough to stop hurting. It's kinda like screwing in a light bulb... when it touches the nerve you immediately know it .
