Questions,,,for those who did recall swingarm, are the bearings ok? meaning NO snap/crackle/pop/? like last year...lol..thanks
RECALL SWINGARM?
-
-
Everything is replaced along with the swing arm - however according to my service guy looks like all they did was reinforce the swing arm no other changes except for color on the base grey
But I never had a bearing problem
-
so hopefully the new swing has new and improved bearings? haha....although i hate getting my swing replaced,,since i added redline shockproof,,,,not a peep from bearings or components...:)
-
Same bearings, only new

wow,,,thats not good news,,,,haha...here we go again...

I thought the Redline Shockproof lube went into the angle-drive. The only lube problem I've heard associated with the swing-arm is the lack of lubricant or method for adding any grease for the bearing(s) in the awing-arm.

I'll find out for sure what is being replaced today. I take mine if to finally get the work done and pick it up tomorrow evening.

I've had mine back for about a week, and all of the noise from the rear is a thing of the past. I can only hope it stays that way.

Talked to the service folks, looks like it is the same bearings, but "all brand new". Different lube. They are apparently also using a different rear nut now.
