Looks like it was cast at "Cheech and Chong's bong casting shop" !!!!
If that were my replacement I might opt to keep mine!
Lesson to be learned here ....... inspect and approve the new swingarm BEFORE letting your dealer install it ......
If they all look like this and enough refuse to let them install a part that is not cosmetically similar to original equipment it will force them to tighten up quality control ....

This is a picture I took last weekend of a new SLR at my local dealer with the new swing arm installed. Main difference I can see is that tab in the bend of the arm where there had been failures in the past.

Once Polaris has shipped what they deem a serviceable replacement, I don't think they give-a-Sh.. about us!
Oh boy

Respectfully no .... they cannot hurt the value with a recall replacement part .... a cosmetically inferior replacement part would absolutely hurt the value ....
You can just accept poor quality parts or stand up for yourself ... I choose the latter .........

@Orangeman, I understand your point. I just don't think Polaris respects us as customers. In some ways Polaris seems like a restaurant that serves a market where there are enough new customers that if they get anyone to eat there once, there's still enough money coming in to not worry about repeat business.

In that I agree with you completely .... if it wasn't true we wouldn't have to worry about this subject ......

I haven't checked into it yet but I have not had any issues with my swingarm. Anybody know if they will let you have the new swingarm to take home just in case??? I haven't read all the fine print and am pretty lazy these days
Nope. They are having the old ones returned to the mother ship once they are removed
Thanks @funinthesun - I kinda figured that

They are not letting you keep anything else that they replace,I was told it was all sent back to Polaris.
