Just watched the news coverage. It's so sad, but just unimaginable for me. I've never seen anything near that, and pray I never will. Sending positive thoughts their way. And now I hear tornado's are a threat!! My goodness, how much more can these folks take?? Awful!

That whole area up there is so beautiful!! It is a shame Mother Nature decided to scar it like this. I think Dolly Parton is a wonderful star for pledging $1000 month to families displaced by this fire. Hopefully with support like that these poor folks lives can get back to normal as soon as possible!!

we were camping in pidgin fordge Halloween weekend I pointed out the orange slingshot for rent to my wife, this is very sad it will take decades for the mountain to heal

I always feel bad for the people who loose life and property. Took off this morning for a structure fire a 1 1/2 -- 2 miles further up the same mountain I live on. It was a bitch! Burnt down to the ground. Not enough water. First time for me we weren't able to get it out. Everyone safe though!! A nine hour day of busting ass. Literally busted my ass on a rock.
