Just got done replacing the oem fuel pump with a Aeromotive Stealth unit, along with an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
Here are the pics of the instalation.
Mfor the curious, the external regulator needs to return fuel to the tank and thats the tube you see going back into the tank.

Yep. Curious to see some big numbers with this setup. That was the only thing that kept me from holding the big HP numbers for more than a few seconds. I have enough fuel with the stock pump to hold no more than about 450hp. Key word being HOLD that HP. With that you should be able to turn some really large numbers and hold it to the floor for a while.
Only reason that I can see someone would need this is so they can deliver cool fresh fuel to the engine. And also if you were really racing (which I know you are) these things. That way you could really hold the pedal to the floor over and over.
For someone like me that just rails on it for moments at a time and short burst while passing cars it probably would be overkill... That being said it sounds like I need to get your parts list and start on this immediately! LOL

Lets see first how the stock ecu handles this. Running just the pump and stock regulator didn't work so well, which I expected, I assume with the proper fpr it should be good, we shall soon see I guess
Still have to tie the return hose in some places to the frame before driving it, and check for leaks, but I am confident its ready.
