Ham Radio is something I always wanted to get involved in...I miss having a CB in my truck, but I bet you talk with a greater variety of people on a ham radio
I can't see how they could possibly work

Dodged the rain and made it to the bar ok!
@Instalerrob Ok we all know what curiosity did to the cat, but what is that metal thing clamper the the windshield if I may ask?

Looks like a fancy bracket for some baker airwings that is the spawn from a cell phone holder and a bicycle quick release getting friendly.... Looks like the airwings are mounted inside the wind shield. never saw that setup before.
Well, technically it wasn't the Slingshot, but had to look twice at the odometer in my car today. Good thing it displays the miles digitally and NOT in PICTURES
Don’t you know a light saber holder when you see one😎

DJohnson, those are my $19.99 Baker wings off Amazon. They Do wonders for keeping your shirt from blowing up your arm.👍🏻
This shirt will definitely blow up your arm (& everything else)...
@Instalerrob ha I didn't look close enough so I missed seeing the wings just the metal. Old age old eyes. Those very well maybe my next mod. I thought I was going to have to wait till I installed a top to have the wings. Thanks.

I have both the top and wings. If you are looking for cooling the wings are worth every penny. While they don't help at a stop sign they help immensely when moving. Overall my experience is the wings will be a far greater benefit. They also are very useful in blocking out cold air in the mornings. EjFord

DJohnson something I forgot to mention and it deserves some thought. Mounting for baker air wings varies and in most cases not interchangeable. So some thought needs to be taken as to weather you want go get the air wings that mount to a windscreen or to the top you may get in the future.

I have also seen the side mounted (to the windshield) Air Wings moved to the 'top' of the windshield. Works pretty well.
My daughter and I took a nice run to Fallbrook to the Smokin’Bird barbecue. Boy oh boy so glad this place is open again! Even though lunch was good the best part just hanging out with my girl all day!
Truffle bacon mac & cheese homemade rolls, baby back ribs, incredible pastrami sandwich, Cajun fries & jalapeños and pickles with an IBC root beer.
I’m starting to like the caliper color.
Only in America - a plate full of food and a DIET Coke to wash it all down. It don't get any better than this

I hate to entertain the thought of getting new luggage bags but those bags go with the flow. My roll bags don't hold form and I stuff them with towels. I also have a pair of the SlingLow racks and they work perfect with roll type bags. Possible future purchase. Please inform of what brand they are. I must say your new sling is looking really good!
Frankie55 thank you for all the kind words!
Somewhere prior I have posted about these bags but I was never able to find out exactly who made them. However they have a plastic roll inside that form fits the entire bag and gives it strength and form whether they are empty or full. Later on today I will give it one more try and perhaps pull that plastic insert out and see if there’s anything underneath it that would give me a hint as to what they are. I bought these bags back in 2004-5 I believe, and a little armor all and they look as good as new even today. As I have said in a prior thread I took them off my old motorcycle and put them on here for a trip and liked them so much I never took them off.
