If they don't put that box under the hood with the SC install does that mean the Sling won't be able to do donuts?

If you don't put them in the front they can't come out the back

If you install this SC, do you have to get rid of the radiator shroud?

Must remove or modify ......

O man, thx---any idea how much to modify? It was a pain to put in and I like the effect on cockpit heat.

Sent you a PM with an offsite link .......

We have had customers leave them in and trim them, or remove them. If you do leave it in, it has to be trimmed to fit the belt drive and the oil reservoir and filter. The link that @Orangeman probably sent is of the customer in Florida that just installed a supercharger and recommended to just remove the shroud though and is typically what we do here also.
Hope that helps,

Did the Smaller pulley come out and I missed where to purchase it for SC system? I ordered the Coolant re-route, just figure riding season is about over and be a good time to finish things up under the hood...like we are ever finished under the hood.

Awsum, thank you for reply sir! Joe

I've tried looking for it but did the smaller pulley come out for purchase. Does anyone know what pulley comes with the big kahuna package?
-
110mm pulley I think. Smaller 95mm pulley might be to much for a stock engine or right near its limits.
-
Ty sir!
-
The 95mm pulley is available from DDM. however you need to have an oil cooler, 2.5 inch exhaust with no baffles, and center feed fuel rail on you sling. I have one on my stock engine and it runs great. Not sure if it is to much for stock engine. No problem so far, but when you add a supercharger or turbo to any stock engine you take the chance.

You are right about taking a chance with any engine. Dave also likes to have the steam line re-route kit installed. Gotta get rid of that heat.
-
Yeah I'm going to wait I won't have a oil cooler or a steam line re route kit and I won't have the money to buy them also. There is always next yr! I will have to make do with the big kahuna package.

I forgot about the steam line reroute hose. DDM also likes to have the economy coolant tank installed. And I run WATER WETTER in my coolant.

You will be very happy with the big kahuna package from DDM. It will build plenty of power. The steam hose re-route kit and economy coolant tank are not that expensive. The oil cooler cost a little money, but it is well worth it. Talk to Dave & Jeff at DDM. They are both great, and will take care of your sling.

Look at it this way @bjk81 You install the Big Kahuna and will be thrilled with the horsepower. Then you install the cooler and steam reroute kit and add the smaller pulley and then once again be thrilled about the hp gain. That's a win win.
