You say clicking when you made a right turn. Was it just one click or several while you were making the turn? I have 2700 miles on mine and noticed a few clicks when I make a hard right turn.
Easiest way to tell us to jack the front, grab the top of the wheel, try and push it in and out. You will feel the play

Thats NOT good!

mine clicked also without jacking it up.

So was it just one click you herd when turning or multiple clicks?
-
No not clicking like bad bearings. It would just click when I pushed and pulled the tire. Jack up SS put 1 hand on top of tire like this.
-
Grab the bottom of tire on opposite side and pull with bottom and push with top back and forth. You will hear a click or will see movement where ball joint and upper and lower arms meet.

Anyone know if there is a aftermarket upper ball joint available? Checked mine today. They're just starting to get movement & clicking

If you are still under warranty have the dealer replace them.

I had three out of four ball joints replaced. Both uppers, and the passenger side lower. The dealer was unable to remove the lower, so they replaced the control arm.
That was four or five months ago.
Symptoms have returned. In general, I agree have the dealer do the warranty work. But, after 4 warranty repairs for brake fluid sensors, and now looking at a 2nd attempt on ball joints, I am keeping an eye out for aftermarket alternatives. One day, the warranty will run out.
My wife says I would not have this problem, if I didn't ride. Great.

I've had mine replaced 3 times now, even went as far as calling federal mougal with no luck, my dealer was kind enough to let me take my old ones for a few days to see if my parts guy could match some up with no luck. Maybe if enough of us called moog or other companies maybe they would start making some.

I believe the Polaris replacement is the entire control arm, they come with the ball joints and bushings installed. No special tools needed, less labor, and replacement control arms are somewhat reasonable($169).
If anyone is in a pinch and is in need, I have a complete set of control arms with good ball joints and bushings.

warranty started Dec 2014. May still be in effect due to Polaris giving extensions when they did the steering recalls. I'll check with my dealer next week. I'd still love to find an aftermarket replacement thou.
Thought I saw on one of the forms the a frames were off of a Saturn Sky/Pontiac Solstice? -

I gave a friend of mine my uppers when I changed them. He works for Napa. Had them for a month compared them to everything they had in the store no matches. I can't imagine there one off. But I know for sure they dont match anything off a solstice. That's the first thing I compared it to.
-
Besides the engine and a couple of other components. There's not much that match up with the solstice. Brake shoes are a match to a Honda civic but the calipers are not a match to the ones on the civic. But I always try to cross match when I can or change parts or play with different things on the SS.
-
Thanks guys. Guess we'll have to keep searching for those cross matches whatever they are.
