Got retaining ring back in and going to reassemble. that was nerve racking. Had to use this 1 and an 1/8 socket to push against ball joint sleve my kit from harbor freight didn't have a small enough adapter.

@chad warren thanks for documenting all of this - GREAT JOB!!!
-
-
Thanks, there are a lot of people on here that have no idea how easy it is to do this.
-
I knew getting out wasn't going to be an issue. It was getting them back in. But I worked it out.
-
Now for the lowers
-
U did good!! Hats off to ya
-
All buttoned back up definitely was bad uppers no more movement or clicking. That also was my fear that I get it back together and it was no different. But yep all better. Please feel free to ask any questions. Now I'm my own mechanic so what I did is not what others might do. There's many ways to skin a cat. I guess I can cancell my appointment.

lowers seem to be fine for now. But I will keep an eye on them.
-
Great job @chad warren!!! Thanks for taking the time to post those great pics and blow by blow description of what you did and how you did it!!!! Priceless info indeed!!! Glad you were able to fix your own problem too!!
-
Should have Polaris fixed this yes. It would have been a warranty claim yes but 100 bucks and about 2 hours and done. Now for the passenger side.
-
I'm with you, I asked the closest dealer.... 2.5 hours away and by the time I took it in got the claim started all that chit I just ordered mine and will be replacing them next week when I get back from florida..... thanks for the pics and write up I'm sure a lot of folks will just use your thread and do them themselves..
-
All this proves is that there are a lot more "step by step" pictures that @chad warren is holding back on in the Lou's Bar thread.
Nice job fixing the cli...king.

I feel like someone should be there to wipe the sweat off your brow and yell things like clear, forceps, stat
