I was at the airport the other day in NY
2 women ragging on cops
All the airport stores in NY sell NYPD and NYFD shirts since 911I yelled out real loud "Look NYPD shirts what a great way to show support to the brave men and women that protect us"
At least one other guy caught on to what I was doing and agreed we both bought some shirts and the 2 women stormed away.
I changed shirts in the middle of the airport!I have a buddy I know making buttons that say "BLUE LIVES MATTER"
let me know if you want one I will do my best to get some extras -
"BLUE LIVES MATTER" - that is just really awesome. I would wear a shirt, pin, hat etc. with that saying on it.
Hadn't heard this saying yet - but went out to Amazon and bought 2 t-shirts. One for me and the other for my father-in-law who is retired police officer.

I will try and pick up a handful of buttons and post it when I have them

I wear this bracelet every day. They were being sold to fund new body armor for our local officers. I bought a bunch and gave them to friends.
I also have this same sticker on all of my vehicles.

When I was I the military, I was military law enforcement. So it takes on a different meaning to me.
Check out this site. Nine Line Apparel is a local Savannah veteran owned company. They started in a garage and grew to what they are now. They donate to Veterans and First Responders constantly. Good people. Their motto aya it all.
“IT'S MUCH MORE THAN GETTING DRESSED EVERYDAY, IT'S ABOUT BEING PROUD OF WHO YOU ARE, WHAT YOU WEAR, AND HOW YOU WALK THROUGH LIFE. WE ARE RELENTLESSLY PATRIOTIC. WE HOLD NO PUNCHES, WE DON'T APOLOGIZE FOR OUR LOVE OF COUNTRY, WE ARE AMERICA'S NEXT GREATEST GENERATION.”

Here are some suggestions on how to appreciate your LE folks, understand that:
1. They are human with all the strengths and weaknesses that we all share. They ain't perfect folks.
2. Most signed up for the job because they care and understood the rules of the game.
3. They see things and do things on a routine basis that the vast
majority of people don't want to deal with, let alone think about.
4. The vast majority of the community contacts are with people who are not nice people.
5. 99% of the LE folk are honest hard working people who care.
6. We have an obligation to support the 99% and demand the 1% be held accountable for bad conduct.
7. Obey the laws.
8. And until you've pulled an active shift with some LE folks and
witnessed first hand what they face, don't be so quick to judge based on
a snipet of some video camera. Unless you are "there" and actively
engaged, you don't know all the details.I was in the LE profession for over 27 years and am currently in a
branch of LE work. A finer group of man and women I never met. I
always knew who had my back.
