Now that we live in Florida I've learned that you can never predict when a heavy rain will hit. Could use some help on what type of rain gear you guys have found to work out well.

Frogg Toggs. Don't bother with the ones from Walmart. Go to a bike shop, sporting goods store like Dick's or order online.

I 2nd Frogg Toggs, make sure your jacket is hooded, water will find its way through the neck area.

I have my Harley Rain gear the cool thing is that top and pants curl up into a softball size unit. Great because they both fit in glove compartment or behind the seat storage.

Another Frogg Toggs fan. You can also buy at Rural King. Given that you aren't always in rain while wearing they are about the coolest type of rain gear you can wear and are about the best you can have in warm environments. In very heavy rain they can leak through some as they breathe. I also carry a one piece for known steady, heavy rain.
