Air conditioning has arrived !

@oneshot what do you think, it will probably be pretty effective in these new setups, being the slingshade with our new Nascar Styled Windshield , we just installed for Dana Ward in Eureka Springs, its almost enclosed but leaves a couple inches a couple inches down each side and about 3 across the top for air movement so the ducted ports blowing right on the occupants might be just the answer and the almost enclosed windshield makes for an extremely quiet and calm cabin so the two should work hand in hand ! let us know how the A/C unit progresses
its complete now , just working on what style vent and location of vents .

Don't need a heater core... I need Freon. Why do I not have this kit yet???? Where is the love Jamie? I need this ASAP.
I will design my own vent outlets . I already have a plan for them.

@oneshot, we could have used the heaters last night. Last hour of ride at 33-35 degrees was a little brisk.
That is 10degrees below my cutoff limit. Wow

Hello, any word on getting a/c for my sling? Houston Texas in August is hot as hell, I just added SlingShade this weekend, I figure i'll run it 7 months a year with the T-tops off but adding a/c would be awesome!

Welcome @KatyTxSling!

I've been modeling parts from small aircraft to make an end-to-end AC install on my sling ~> Check this out: AMT-Air Management Technology, Inc. (they're hella cold and easy to install/mount).

I posted about this unit on TDS back in 2016. Don't know if they're still in business, but it looks to be the right size to fit somewhere in the Slingshot. I wouldn't expect it to do much when the Slingshot is moving, but it should provide some comfort when stopped for a light, especially if the Slingshot has a Top.

Our ac and heat will provide cold high volume air flow to your whole body and heat on those cold chilly nights . Our system is based off of a GM parts so any local parts store can provide replacement parts as needed .
