Classic Car Pricing: - Who's Got 'Em and Who Wants to Sell?

Sitting at the HOA meeting while a bunch of people complain about constant burnouts in the neighborhood...
-
I wasn't sure where to put this, so I landed here. I just bought tickets to this raffle for a '36 Knucklehead (!!!) at the Wheels Through Time museum in Maggie Valley. Bill Martin you can watch me win on November 23rd of this year at the live drawing. I'm looking forward to riding it up to your place for a cold beverage. I might need short-term storage until I can bring it home. It would look great in your living room.
There's no point in anyone else buying tickets. You're just wasting your money. Unless you want the t-shirt.

I got ya buddy - I got just the spot for it - I can sit on it with a fan on my face to reminisce my Harley days….UNLESS - it has a suicide shifter on it - in that case I would advise U Store It
-
But if he TRANSISIONS before riding it, the shifter has a place to go without doing him any harm. And as any good attorney will point out, the onus to mitigate any foreseeable damages falls on the back of the plaintiff.

Ends tomorrow, so I still have a chance to get it IF my PowerBall numbers are pulled tonight
-
So, if I win a bike with a suicide shifter and you kill yourself on it, is that suicide or murder?
I forgot about those. Isn't that the foot clutch, hand shift setup?
Yes - as you well know shifting with my left leg a heel/toe setup is impossible but I could stomp on a clutch and shift with my hand - have rode em before. Sadly I was just kidding - my two wheel days are over - just wishful thinking. Win the bike and I’ll have it put on my porch so I can sit and look at it while sippin shine….we will be waitin on ya 👍👍

My neighbor just picked this one up. A 1964 Ford Galaxy (I believe XL or SL)?. It's just cool! Pictures don't do it justice. It looks so much better in person.
(edited original post typo as a 1962 and it is in fact 1964) Thanks for the correction!

There was 4 engine choices that year. Is it the 390?

I believe it is. I recall seeing 390 posted on the front quarter panel badge just behind the wheel.

There was also a 406 high performance but not many of those were made. I'm pretty sure that teardrop hood scoop is not factory.
Nothing says 'look at my ass' like quad pipes sticking out a foot behind a 3 foot long continental kit.
That is a sweet ride. Tell your neighbor that if the sun is out, the top is supposed to be down!
Don't suppose you know what he gave for it?

Really surprised that no one has said this is 1964 Ford Galaxy not a 1962 as posted, and it is a XL..

I thought it was a 64 my Dad had one, top of the line deep blue with a red leather interior -- hard top.

Nice, look at those tail lights. Space exploration, Ford galaxy, those tail lights scream rocket ship. Great time, like the original American chopper but with cars. I was one year old! Remember when the hi-lo beam was a press button on the floor!
