I sent the below to an area realtor. I imagine many in this country have business that do the same. I sent the below to him in hopes it will bring awareness and respect.
Feel free to use the below in your neighborhood should you desire.
Michael,
I like that you put out your flags each 4th and I know your heart is in the right place on this. We have met and I have enjoyed our conversations.
Something I would like for you to consider please. Should you put the flag on a persons lawn please also have instructions on the proper disposal. I have enclosed a link to help on this should you be interested. Again; I believe your heart is in the right place but it is painful to see our Flag in the gutter, on top of the trash or simply on the ground blowing around after the holiday. This is our country’s flag no matter what material it is made of.
Or perhaps you could enclose a card saying to please leave the flag in place and you will be by after the 4th to pick up and dispose of them properly.
Thank you for reading my mail and my intent is to help you not to disparage you.
Wishing you all the best this momentous day Saturday the 4th and forward.
WE are blessed to be in a country where we can do business in peace.
Bob
