The R is black with red trim OR the blue/orange combo. The red S is an automatic.
Yep, should have said as black with red trim. I like the matte finish although it looks like part matte black & part gloss black. Have to see in person but I'm liking the R.
I'm really liking the red "R". I see myself getting one towards the end of the year. Perhaps I'll get a closer look at the candy during Maggie Valley. Hope my wife understands

Well I was thinking about boosting and then I was thinking about getting a 2020. I even convinced the wife to go for a new 2020. But after I looked at the R I did not like the rails next to the passenger and Driver painted blue or red . So I guess I'm going to keep my 2015 SL
having a standard manual transmission for me is more fun and it also quickly shuts down many of the would be requests for me to let someone else drive it - - - If I were in the market for a new Slingshot (which I am not) the only reason why I would even consider the auto would be so that my wife could drive it - considering the fact that she wouldn't want to anyway there is no other reason to consider it.
I agree 100% , my wife isn't interested in driving it & I love shifting gears......
I have found something that I really do not like about my 2020R.... They got rid of the Flux Capacitor start button. I really liked that....
