The New Front Fenders from @Stickerdick

we will most likely have to alter the radius
-
we will have to split two fenders, radius them to a larger arch and then devise a bracket system that will allow the fender to mount close to the tire without seeing it or the hardware..... tall order, but we are looking at it.

i finally got the marine grade battery mounting straps in for my add-ons to the filler panels when you remove the "mudflaps". Now you can hand a small folding chair or a saddle bag off the side of the slingshot and leave valuable interior space open!

OK... My fiberglass guy was by today dropping off my hood scoop, and he wants to just start from scratch and create a rear fender with the internal brackets glassed into the fender, so I gave him my 305/35x20 tire to play with and he is gonna come up with a mock up that we can look at by the middle of April, I'll post pics ASAP.

Hey! I know that guy. No, but his twin lives around here. Even with the beard.

I can only dream that my sling could be as slick as @Shatneyman.... But that will never be, so I'll just have to be happy that he choose my fenders to work within his beautiful build! My Sling... Will be just OK... but really , really Fast!

Here is a short video to explain the shims that @FunCycle and others of the "alpha" customers have found may be needed to install the mounting brackets to a stock braked slingshot. These will help the bracket clear the banjo bolt on the caliper. I also need to send out the stencil kit to any of the first 10 who might still need it for the cutting and shaping of your fenders, (especially if your not @Shatneyman)... he needed Nothing!
also, if you need the urethane rubber isolators for the fender to bracket, let me know.... I have those to be shipped to you if needed.

Warmed up to 58 degrees and the sun shinning, no wind so the inside of the fenders are painted
-
Painted the fenders black this morning and will probably install hopefully for the last time tomorrow.
