I just mentioned this in another thread, but I thought it might be worth a thread of its own for the dog lovers here
If you really want a quality food for your dog, but would also like to save some money you might want to consider Costco's own Kirkland Signature dry dog food. Dog food advisor dot com is a site that analyzes the content and quality of dog foods and they give this food an overall rating of 4 out of 5 stars and the puppy, small dog and mature dog formulas receive 4.5 stars. Normally dog foods that rate this high like blue buffalo and others cost more than twice as much.
You can check out the ratings here Dog Food Advisors
Costco also sells a Signature Natures Domain food dry that is also 4 stars, but it cost a bit more and doesnt seem to have any formulas that hit the 4.5 mark
Anyway I know this is way off topic for a Slingshot forum, but I also know that are a bunch of dog lovers here so I hope no one minds this post
