Installed my harness the rabtech method and I added some trim from autozone to cover up the edges and so the harness doesn't fray from the plastic edges

If I do not have time to install the seat belts before I leave and I buy them, will anyone have tools and stuff like to help me?

Received email from Slingmods about the harness bar. At $249 it is $60 more than Bert's Mega mall. I went ahead and ordered sight unseen. Did not feel like cutting the plastic on this SS.

Unfortunately I can not use a harness bar because I have the Alpha Luggage racks.. Cutting the plastic is the route I am going.

I should have everything you need to zip the back apart and take the hoops off. I figure your looking for tools more than guidance. I'll be fairly busy but I'll bring you all the tools you need. -
I should say that I will have everything you need to disassemble the whole SS with me. The only thing I won't have is an engine hoist. I will have a full size 3 ton floor jack with me. And a full compliment of Ryobi impacts and drills.

I had rather drive naked than not have the tools I need.

I will donate tools if necessary to prevent that from happening!

I have done everything to this point myself, figuring it out or seeing on the forums what people are trying. I appreciate any help and I can help others that need a hand also.
Thanks Rab!

I could do that also, did you tape over the paint and draw the opening then drill through the tape and cut it so you didn't chip the paint?
You have to take the entire rear deck off to install the top belts?
No. Didn't have to take the deck off. I did use blue painters tape. -

I made a few jumper plugs that plug directly into the factory seatbelt light harness under the drivers seat. This turns off the seatbelt light on the dash.
No cutting wires here...just unplug the harness and plug this in. -

Full time start to finish on these is about an hour for both belts. Figure on two if you need to finagle some things. You're welcome to call me if you need any help with installation, but it is very very easy.

You can use them for any 12v application. Seats are a good choice.

Thanks Cameron,
I am going to order them soon, with everything I am trying to juggle and prepare for the trip it's coming down to the wire. I may or may not have time to get them installed. I am going to be there on Monday.
