Conservative Politics & Daily Events Discussion

  • If Hillary is elected------
She will stuff the appointed government offices with left wing, socialist persons.
She will stuff the Supreme Court with left wing, socialist, if not radical, persons.
Higher taxes to pay for more welfare and social programs to buy votes.
Tax the rich, they already pay 84% of all federal taxes---what about the 47% who pay non?
More regulation, bigger government, no growth.
She will raise the Debt to pay for all the FREE Programs, already at $20 Trillion plus, how long can the Federal Reserve print worthless dollars to buy Government Bonds to prop the government ?
Open borders to allow anyone into America, indoctrinated to become Democrats, the only reason.
More Muslim refugees, non of which speak English, have no skills and thus dependent on government for life support, they care less about integrating into our culture.
    No Borders
    No Language
    No Culture
    NO COUNTRY
America will permanently changed to something we will not recognize with Hillary.
Your children and grand-children will pay the price.
Trump is not my ideal candidate, we can only HOPE he does what he says.
But we know exactly what we have in Hillary a left wing, big government socialist, set to destroy the America I grew up in.
Give your vote----lots of thought !
I am fed up with Clintons, scandal after scandal. Broke when they left the Whitehouse and now multi, multi millionaires---with no job---whats up with that??
At least Trump is use to signing the front of the check.
Hillary never created one single job in her life, a 30 year career political hack.
I will take my chance with Trump.

  • Red Phone ......

Rachel Notley, Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin all die and go to hell. While there, they spy a red phone and ask what the phone is for. The devil tells them it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin calls Russia and talks for 5 minutes. When he’s finished the devil informs him that the cost is a million dollars, so Putin writes him a check.

Next Donald Trump calls America and talks for 30 minutes. When he’s finished the devil informs him that the cost is 6 million dollars, so Donald Trump writes a check.

Finally Rachel Notley gets her turn and talks for 4 hours. When she's finished, the devil informed her that there would be no charge and feel free to call Alberta anytime.

Putin goes ballistic and asks the devil why Rachel Notley got to call Alberta for free. The devil replied, "Since Rachel Notley became Premier of Alberta, the province has gone to hell, so it's a local call."

All the oil might be in Alberta but the dipsticks are in Ottawa!

  • A Delicate Corporate Matter

All of the ten senior members of the Board of Directors of thecompany were called into the chairman's office one at a time until only Bob,the most junior member was left sitting outside.

Finally it was Bob's turn to be summoned. He entered the office tofind the chairman and the ten other directors seated around a table. Hewas invited to join them, which he did. As soon as he had sat down thechairman turned to Bob looking him squarely in the eye, and with a stern voice, asked, “Have you ever had sex with Mrs. Foyt, my secretary?”

“Oh, no Sir, positively not!” Bob replied.

“Are you absolutely sure?” asked the chairman.

“Honest, I’ve never been close enough to even touch her!”

    "You’d swear to that?"

"Yes, I swear I’ve never had sex with Mrs. Foyt anytime, anywhere."

    "Good, then you fire her!".

  • Epiphany this morning. Have really been trying to figure out what makes someone a Hillary or a Trump voter. Besides certain single issue causes, why are two intelligent people of the same socioeconomic status, raised in the same town who are good friends on opposite sides? I think the answer boils down to whether or not they have a job that exposes them “to the system” and how badly it isn’t working. If they do, they are a Trump voter. If they don’t, they believe big government can fix things and are a Hillary voter. For example, if they work deeply in the medical field (not where they lack patient contact), they see how badly Obamacare has hurt everyone. They also see how much fraud and abuse occurs within the welfare system. Someone who works at a university would have no idea the magnitude of this problem and innocently believe government run healthcare can help people. A small business owner, who deals every day with the mountains of restrictions and would like to hire more employees but can’t due to Obamacare issues that mean they lose certain health care tax credits if they get too many, is likely a Trump voter. They also have to deal with ridiculously high business taxes, which big corporations have money to pay lawyers to get around and set up offshore bank accounts, etc. If you work for a big corporation and are salaried, you wouldn’t probably think about any of this and may be voting for Hillary. If you are a police officer and you deal day to day with the criminal justice system and see the effects of broken homes, broken families, which is encouraged by our welfare system which penalizes people from marrying and providing that stable family unit, and then on top of that you feel the lack of support from top level administration, you are probably a Trump voter. If you maybe work in a tech industry, you would be completely isolated from this and not have any true understanding of how horrible things are. My point is this. Nobody is stupid and name-calling is uncalled for. But maybe, just maybe, questioning is called for. Maybe if you tend to trust the government to handle things and you have friends who do not, ask them why they do not. Go to work with them one day or just talk to them seriously for an hour of their time, listening to their opinions instead of bantering with them. Then, think about what they have had to say and consider the possibility that things maybe were not the way you had thought. Maybe things do need a change. Even if you do not like Donald J Trump, my suggestion is that you strongly consider a Republican vote for the purpose of system change. And remember, our country has had several effective presidents who were not at all well-liked including Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.

  • I don't participate in this thread much, but I would shoot my boys 24yr and 25 yrs old If they would ever act like Donald Trump. You have all Wife's and Mothers kids male female. I'll gone to load my 30 odd six if someone would talk to them like this>

I totally agree with you Mytoy! Just imagined the crap he has gotten away with sexually harassing women that has not come to light. This will hinder his chances greatly as becoming POTUS. I truly hope everyone teaches their sons how to treat women with respect and dignity. Just imagined if that was your daughter he made those remarks to, I am sure we all would be pissed. I see several prominent republicans decided not to endorse Trump after hearing these hideous comments. I would vote for Bozo the Clown before I vote Trump!

  • I have heard male conversations like this first hand...I have seen as bad if not worse posts on the forums...it has been accepted as part of the male psyche for years. As a matter of fact if boys/men didn't participate in these types of conversations they were labeled as "homos" "queer" "fag" and a few other descriptives.
    Do I agree with it...no.
Does it alter my thoughts on who I will vote for...not at all.
For any of the "holier than thou" folks if they had to go back 11 years to dig up a audio of these 2 guys...just imagine if someone had sound bytes of you and the guys...I'm pretty sure there would be plenty of fodder for the masses...
Bill Clinton set the bar 30 years ago

  • While we are on this subject I have another small rant to go on. If you get right down to it when it comes to Presidential politics who gives a crap who an ex President screwed 20 years ago or what locker room statement another made 10 years ago. How many of us guys have never made rude, crude, and socially unacceptable comments about women at one time or another - it is just a part of the male psyche. As Hillary's now infamous line "what difference does it make". We have many brilliant, capable, HONEST people that could appeal to more of the country than these two candidates. HOWEVER, who wants months of the media using an anal probe looking into every aspect of your life looking for something to destroy your character. The 24 hour news cycle is always looking for something and no longer are reporters but pundits for the candidate of their choice. I don't know how to turn this ship and change our election process but as American voters we have set ourselves for repeated disappointment for years to come.

I might not be right but I can sure sound like it

Hillary would qualify as BOZO, so your on the right track.

    YLM. Your Life Matters

  • I too am disgusted by comments made by Trump.
However, that was a private conversation recorded 11 years ago without his knowledge. He said these horrible things but Bill Clinton actually did these horrible things and Hillary not only stood by Bill but she bashed, embarrassed and discredited his victims.
    Who treats women worse?
