This election took place right at the height of COVID, people were being hospitalized and dying right and left - - considering this is it really that odd that someone dropping off ballots that might have been handled by - lets say a sick family member or perhaps ballots from people living in a nursing home - might want to wear gloves when carrying those ballots and would then feel free to remove those gloves and dispose of them once the ballots had been deposited in the box?

Seriously when the election took place I remember seeing people with masks covered with face shields and even wearing gloves in the supermarket to shop for produce because of the fear they might get COVID by handling the the same produce others had touched.

Yes I totally agree that in the past wearing gloves to deliver ballots to a drop off box would have looked very strange, But this election with COVID as big of a fear as it was at the time is it really that unexpected?

Seriously, mail in ballots and ballots collected at the poling places the day of the election are all counted at the same location on the day of the election and frankly I trust the mail to get my ballot there more than I trust the democrat election workers that pick them up from the poling places.

Fact is these days I think the die hard conservatives are far more likely to go to illegal extremes to win an election than the die hard liberals - oh and this is not because the conservatives are are any less honest, it just that the snowflake liberals dont have the balls to push things as far as the conservatives will.

Are the Republicans bastions of integrity? hardly. Are they as corrupt as the democrats? The mafia isn't that corrupt, perhaps the Russian military is.

How has the media reported on Hunter Biden's laptop? Pedo Peter? Biden selling out national oil reserve to China? Drug and sex trafficking at the border? Most of them have taken one of 2 approaches, blind eye or spin.

There were alot of irregularities during the 2020 election and yet the media yelled "no proof" without any investigation. Literally thousands of affidavits (sworn legal statements under penalty of perjury) and they investigated exactly zero of them. They called the DNC and the DNC told them "no; EVERYBODY LOVES a pedophile!!", so they went with that.

To my knowledge none of those who wrote out affidavits have been charged with perjury.

Contrast how they covered the allegations against Kavanaugh vs the child porn friendly new justice. How many have mention how lenient Judge Jackson has been for child pornographers? Very little.

Put a microscope on one child and a blind eye to another and they won't turn out the same, I assure you.

We have had this same conversation so many times that I am tiring of it.

It can be done safely and securely, FL has proven that. CA's system is f-ed up, WA's system is f-ed up, every dem run state that has mass mail in voting, or no signature verification, or drop boxes, or ballot harvesting, and on, and on and on is ripe for abuse.

To have any chance of being safe and it must be a system where a mail in ballot is requested, no reason needed but mass mailing to the entire voter role is a joke. It must have complete tracking, it must have at least 80% signature verification. It must require mail in ballots be received before election day and none other than overseas Military accepted after. And it must be returned by mail directly to the elections office so the chain of custody tracking is complete and verifiable. Anything less is unacceptable.

These safeguards cannot be put in place just months before an election in states that have never done it before as directed by Judges in violation of states Constitutions and be in any way seen as legitimate.
