I have a 2017 SS black, the neighbor hood kids call it the bat mobile. So i got to thinking why not try to make it look a little batman like. bought this fender from a trailer company and had the symbol cut out. now will make a thicker template to trace on the fender and cut it out. any thoughts or guidance is helpful.

I am assuming for rear fender... are you asking for input on mounting or artsy-fantasy?For mounting... look at Metrick's fender bracing for fabricating a mount...
For artsy-fartsy... reduce the size of the Batman symbol, fabricate it into a medallion, high gloss, turn it horizontal on rear of fender, and mount it with a 3/8 inch stand off for depth...
Or not... not a fan of fenders that folks cut holes in... makes a mess of everything if days are not optimum...
Once you mount the fender, you will probably find that you won't see much of the first quarter to one third of the fender.

Yes sir the rear fender. i will either see if i can purchase some brackets from vendors or make my own. the reason the symbol is big cause it will be the fender itself. it is mainly for look really.

That is going to be a lot of work... no rigidity and will require some roll stock to re-enforce... you gonna need a metal fabrication shop.Love to watch stuff happen...

@Trooper if this is what you're planning, it should be pretty light. You can probably use a bar off the license plate mounting bolt, going down and behind center of emblem. And a bar coming off your rear shock mount (with extended bolt).
If you plan on running in line with tire, I don't like it because it will be upside down from one direction.
