it was... mostly... kinda...
we get flagged off to the side of the road, been pulled over by two state troopers just so they could find out what it was, follow us into parking lots to conversate for 30 minutes... it was kinda fun in the begining. It happens every single time we are in the slingshot. Id like to say sometimes..... "please. We just want to pump some gas. We did not invite you into our personal space." But we give them a slingshotinfo card and seize the first opportunity to exit
I wish every librarian I ever checked a book out from when I was a kid looked like this.IMG_5305.JPG
As a woman driving a SS, I have become accustomed to the hand waving, picture taking and questions.
But I am also keenly aware of who is driving behind me. I was once followed to my work and kept outside talking for 30 minutes.. was late. On two separate occasions I was followed home. They pulled in right behind me!
Thank god I carry concealed and have a Great Dane. Have to admit all three times I was nervous, especially with the drunk guy at my house.
Live, learn and use rear view mirrors!

I find that more women wave at me too! But men are very vocal when I drive. My husband and I share the SS and he claims people are more "chatty" with him when I'm along with him. Stopping at a gas station take 25 minutes because people there when you start pumping ask questions and then another group comes in and it all starts again! I don't mind talking to them about the machine but I've got places to go too! I'm looking at placing a holster right in between the steering and the stereo deck - would look like I'm reaching for the key I think.....

Erica, the way you worded that is begging @Tripod to reply....
I've been looking at these below. I love Alien Gear. I was thinking of the inside the waistband model, take off the belt clips, and attach it to the console or under steering column. Also like how you can adjust the retention, and the fact that you can change to a different carry with them for free (for life).

LOL @Tripod That's a sexy number!!
@Goats_Hogs I'm heading over to Gander Mountain as we speak, and will check out what they have in inventory ~> see if they have something similar to the Alien Gear! *thanks for the suggestion

So do i. Sadly K2 said that it looked a little aggressive for day-to-day open carry. I loved my thigh holster.
The THONG carry!!!....need I say more
Because I have a TLR-2 mounted on the bottom rail, finding a neoprene-fitted holster at a big box store, was just not happening today. So I crafted an easy solution for mounting my Glock (and while it's not the prettiest, it was only $13 and should do the trick)!
*good old Velcro to save the day!
