I need you guys opinion please. I am on the fence about putting the 2 chrome raised letter "Turbo" emblems on the hood. Many of you have seen mine and say "don't touch the paint". You think I should do it or will it be too "busy". Thanks in advance for any opinions. The Chrome lettering might stand-out better if you place it on the black trim instead of on the paint. The paint scheme is a little "busy" (not criticizing the paint job), but I think the chrome would look better against a solid background.

@Bill Martin---love the look of your Slingshot as is....NO chrome on hood.
At this point you have Chrome where is looks good....throwing more at it will not
enhance the look. -
Why would somebody put a Lamborghini decal on a Slingshot??? Many years ago I once watched a guy get his ass thumped for having a Harley decal clear coated on his Honda.
Yeah, but I'm sure that's not a concern in this case, cuz all the Lamborghini owners I've ever met have been pussies...

I hope his job is with Chippendales... cuz NO guy should move like that.

Hold up what was this Thread About! Stripes .... Rally stripes. Back on topic - here we go!!!
Has anyone installed these type of Strips ... I just wondering the level of difficulty... I think I have the skills - but will need to YouTube an install before I can even figure what I want.
-
These are not hard at all. There in NO trimming required. Anyone can do it
-
Yeah, YouTube has some good videos... Not too bad. Use painters tape to hold. Cut half of the backing off and lay, then remove the other half and lay.
Curves are tricky... Use soap water under if you intend to lift if needed... If contact is made, don't attempt to lift... It'll stretch and then be uneven or leave wrinkles... Depending on the vinyl, some release bubbles easily so don't worry about those.

another good option is alcohol and water mixture rather than soap - But I would check to see if it would work with this material
