Do we have any folks here who can help with code diagnostics? Had a great run last Sunday with the D12 crew. Parked the SS and yesterday was going to go for a run. Engine light on. Got 66014 4 code and 520228 31 code. Looked them up in my Service Manual. Is there a common cause of these codes?

I have the codes and what they mean from my Service Manual. Thanks to Pete B for a fix. Its all good now.

The list of codes and what system is in question might be a great idea to post in the tech section along side of the one listing the part numbers for non Polaris parts (filters, brakes, etc)

Turned key on and off 3 times quickly. Waited a couple of minutes. Started the SS. No light and no codes. Although they are likely still in the ECM memory for retrieval with a Digital Key. I'm not sure if the SS has an issue or if I just had a one time glitch. Time will tell!!

Here are pages 12.35 to 12.39 of the Service Manual that show the diagnostic codes.
Procedure to retrieve them: Press the Mode button until the speedo's display cycles around to "CHK ENGINE" then press and hold the Mode button. If you have a code it will display in the odometer space. If you have more than one code a number will appear in the Time space. Press the Mode button to cycle through your codes. Press and hold the Mode button to leave the Check Enginemode. Error Codes are listed in the Service Manual. -
First page is unfocussed. Here it is again;

Power steering error... Encoder . Usually you can get this when you leave the key on for longer than a few minutes before starting it...
I don't know what the exact time limit is but I have heard its 5 mins... I think its more like 2 minutes...
Just remember to hit the start button when you turn the key on....That makes it all better......
