I am running a little behind this morning. I'm about to get up and going. I feel like I was hit by a dump truck. I'll start posting pictures soon as I get back from doing a few things in town this morning. Probably around 12 or 1.

@rabtech testing his new turbo,
That is so cool. I love it. Someone bring a trombone to Eureka Springs. We will ride all up and down through the downtown area with it. -
Now on to the exhaust.... EVERYONE should remember me bitching about my exhaust droning and driving me freaking crazy.. Even my side exhaust was driving me nuts. I guess I'm getting old... Well Henry must have read my post because he has sent me one of the nicest LOOKING exhaust I believe you could cram up front... I actually had to put on a shirt so y'all would not see my hairy chest in the reflection.. This thing is a freaking mirror. The muffler has plenty of inside surface area to silence this engine...It has a backbone brace that is massive and has weight reducing cut outs. The turbo flanges are just like the manifold flanges I mentioned earlier, very thick and heavy. V-bands......V-bands.....V-bands.....V-bands..... Did I mention it has V-band clamps... That makes it so much easier to work with....
I wont be able to fully give you all my final thoughts till I actually hear it in action... That will be soon.... Im drinking red bull and coffee now just to get some energy to stay up all night....
But seriously , JUST LOOK AT THIS THING... I don't have to say anything...
It looks like what he installed on my setup. It's quieter with a slight deeper tone at idle. Mash the throttle and it screams out the side pipe. . Only thing for me was momma was complaining about the exhaust smell. I've been able to ignore it (the complaining) to the point that she's either just accepted it or I've finally convinced her it's the other cars that are bringing the smell into the cockpit . Interesting project you have here @rabtech. I've been IM'g Dave about beefing up my engine to crank up my Alpha Turbo. I'll be watching very closely. Thanks for all the info.

She is always needing money now... I use to give her 20.00 and keep her car full of gas an that was plenty... Now she needs 500.00 on Monday and on Tuesday she needs 200.00 more. Then on Friday she just ask for a credit card.... Please tell me they move out and stop costing money when they graduate... OR AT LEAST LET ME DREAM THAT IS HOW IT WORKS!!!!
Uhhhhh, Nope!!!! Not a chance! You still have college to go and then there's the wedding. I just finished with #2. Just like you, #3 is a Senior in High school...but it's all worth it

I could tell you that but I would be telling a story!... I was only able to eat 3 1/2 of them.. I felt like such as failure!

Here are some beauty shots before I close her up!

Looking like that, it doesn't seem as though it's been driven very hard.

I get that comment a lot... I swear Its got almost 1000 miles on it... I use Mobile1 Dexos approved oil in it. If y'all remember when I changed my valve cover out at 14,000 miles it was like new. I just change my oil about ever 2500 to 3000 miles.
Just good engine building.... DDM did a great job..... I guess we will find out when I spool this Alpha turbo up and put those H-Beam rods to the test....
-
When your gasket material squeezes out and it looks like the factory did it,,, thats a good thing!
-
Hey brother that thing is dirty clean it. That is no way to treat a DDM engine.
Sorry I am board and cranky been traveling for 24 hours and am now stranded in Toronto until midnight.
-
Yep. I will. It's a dirty girl.

Is it running yet? Don't connect vacuum to the top of the waste gate.
