all. I want to point out that the main purpose of the rings is to help center the wheel on the hub. If you tighten the lugs properly you pretty much achieve the same thing, but way easier with rings
As I mentioned before our SlingShots come stock without said hub rings and the stock wheels are not mated to the hub. Use of proper lugs and proper torque procedure will avoid most issues. This past summer helping with alignments we had a SlingShot with aftermarket wheels recently installed and had problems getting the alignment right. Determined the wheel was not centered on the hub properly when installed, after loosening the lugs and torqued to spec, we were able to get the alignment right.
I do not think hub rings are mandatory, I recommend them and use them myself.
