Ok. Here is the cavern that is left when you take the heart out.
Sort of reminds me of my first wife - she never had a heart
Cold as ice - she was good for chilling beers though

One other thing. I am happy to have my Hahn X2 setup. I wish Bill Hahn would chime in if he feels better. If it were not for him I wouldn't have a need for this awesome engine. Hahn's system is scalable and can output plenty of boost and fuel for you guys wanting to.make this next step. I don't know about the Alpha system but it probably will do just fine. Henry may chime in and let yall know. I know this is a DDM vendor thread but this build kinda ties all of them together. It's good for all of them in my opinion.
And I know it goes without saying , DDM has the supercharger of the bunch and is ready to deliver boost also...
I rode in a Slingshot in Maggie Valley that had the DDM blower installed during SSITS. Holy f# King $%*t!!! It out pulled anything I can remember being in. Instant on and gone! Very, very impressive! Same price as the turbos being offered. This would not be a tough decision.
Ok. I just started this morning and have the alternator, starter, spark plugs, rear cam sensors, oil pressure sensor, and knock sensor installed. I have the thermostat housing and tube off the other engine ready to instalI. And i have rigged the hoist.to pick it up perfect. I am about to move the whole turbo assembly and bolt it down.
They just opened a Waffle House about 18 miles from me in Russellville AL. I'm about to go get a ham and cheese omelette and some hashbrowns.
When I get back I should have some nasty INSERTION pictures that will excite most people on here.
Ok. I have slowed down a little (if that is even possible)..... the manifold studs have to be removed and moved to the new engine. It's not hard to do but it's just another step.
I can tell you that is a breeze to remove the parts on the old engine when it's on the stand.
TOP TIP! DRAIN THE OIL WHEN YOU GET IT ON THE STAND! OR YOU CAN MOP UP THE OIL THAT COMES OUT THE DIPSTICK HOLE WHEN YOU TURN THE ENGINE ON ITS SIDE!

There's my Puppy pad from all the drool to help melt the oil.
Have to say, kind. Of surprised you have parts that have rust
It's one of those things that doesn't make you go faster. It doesn't bother me that bad.
But I can say that I now have FULL INSERTION!
Somebody better start throwing "LIKES" all over my INSERTION post.. it took a lot of work to get this big thing in....

I love watching penetration pictures.. keep it coming!
I have been dealing with my messed up knee and my right foot. In the last few years I have just fell apart. I started having really bad pain in the heel of my foot about a month ago. It would just hurt when I first started walking on it each day. Then it hurt anytime I was off of it for more than 15 minutes. In the last week it just hurts ALL the time and it SUPER HURTS when I put pressure on it. It sucks to be fat and old!
One thing is FOR SURE.. If my fat slow butt can completely change out an engine over two days (working very few hours at a time) then ANYONE with simple mechanical skills should be able to knock this out.
Hey
I thought insertion was bad thing
I had a problem with a motor in the sprint car one night at Granite City. We had 20 minutes before the start of the feature. With three of us working in the back of an enclosed trailer, we pushed off for the feature with a new "bullet in the gun". With that said, it should have only taken you an hour to get this done.
