When I turn the key, the start button flashes once and I have a dead Slingshot. No fuel pump, lights,….dead. It has a new Optima red top. It won’t jump. Is there a chassis relay that powers the vehicle?
Starting issue ( nothing comes on with key)

Welcome to the forum Paul . I'm sure the smart guys will come along with some ideas, but it could be helpful if you post the year and model. Also, you say new Optima but it still could be a bad unit. I would try starting the Sling with a different battery and I would also see if that Optima operates normally in another vehicle. And if you're game, show us a pic of your Slingshot.

On the early models of the Slingshot with the battery in the back there are several fuses in that location. If a main is dead off the battery --- all dead.
-
Check rear battery and fuses. If all ok, check main fuses and relays in engine bay, then unplug and replug the 3 ECM connectors. If that don't work, see what the codes are on the dash.

Nice...the battery is on the driver's side rear, down low. What year?

I wonder if the fuse recall has been done on it. It is an earlier model, just look at the roll bars.

Figured it out! The ground stud snapped when I replaced the battery last month, so I moved the ground cable to another screw. That came loose. Thanks for all the suggestions! Thankfully it was a simple fix.
for everybody asking, it’s a ‘17 Base with a DDM Stage one turbo, 3 way adjustable shocks, cross-drilled brake upgrade with Hawk pads. I bought her new in ‘17. -
